Jenn listened and wrote down detailed notes about what I liked and didn't like and helped me put my floral vision into words. I felt instantly comfortable with her and was ready to book with her 5 minutes into meeting with her. Following our meeting, Jenn sent several emails helping me put what I wanted into images for her to recreate. She worked with my budget (at least 20% less expensive than the other florists I met with- she works out of her home). Jenn also met with me to collect my mother's veil to incorporate into my flowers. She ultimately wrapped my bouquet in it, and wrapped my husband's and father's boutineers. in it. This is my first visit to Mary's and they've got some great flowers here! Lots of options I haven't seen shopping around the last few years at other places. We got some begonias that are stunning and holding up fantastic so far. We picked up a tropical bush as well, which Mary herself did advise me would likely not survive the winter. She did give me some advice on how to winterize it if I want to try and bring it inside, she seems knowledgeable and it's pretty cool that she offers plants like these. I always grab some veggies and herbs as well and she delivered on that with a few different herbs I'm excited to try. Boxwood basil is new to me but that's exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for. I do wish she had more variety of veggies available, I might have missed the boat on that. I did get a nice heirloom tomato plant, she had these in a back lot. It's a bit hard to get navigate back there and it's not a flat path so be prepared. To sum up, this is a smaller operation than some local competitors but that plant enthusiast charm goes a long way. I'd definitely recommend it for flowers, they've also got lots of cute outdoor decorations. It's a great spot to find something unique too! It COULD use some layout improvements and I found some things unlabeled as I was perusing. I'd say it's definitely worth checking out for either a seasoned gardener or a first timer!

It took a 5 minute phone call to describe the set up and color suggestions. They said they would deliver them the morning of the event to Birchwood directly, which was one thing off my plate. Sold. The flowers themselves were so pretty! We left the party with our arms full of gifts and umbrellas thanks to a very rainy night. When I called Birchwood the next morning to see if i could pick up the flowers to enjoy them a few more days they said they had disposed of them. This was super disappointing because the flowers were really beautiful, but of course this was no fault of ArtQuest. They were also pretty expensive, but that seems to be the case with most beautiful flowers these days.
