As my first real yoga class (aside from what yoga-ish moves Jillian Michaels throws in her workout…read morevids), my experience at YogaFlow Studio was fabulous. I've long been interested in trying out a yoga class and the beginner's workshop was the perfect way to start out. Most times I was too afraid to book a class elsewhere because all the hardcore yogis would be flowing through moves and I'd be huffing and puffing on my mat unable to figure out what was going on. That was so not the case here. Our yoga instructor, Erica (and owner of the biz), was friendly, welcoming, and helpful the entire class. We were led through a series of moves all leading up to being able to put together a sun salutation A. With Vinyasa each move "flows" through to the next and builds off of some basic poses. Per the YogaFlow website, Vinyasa yoga is a strong, athletic style of yoga that links movement to your breath. The focus on breathing was more relaxing than I had anticipated. I left class feeling both energized and calm. It was wonderful. The beginner's workshop lasted the full two hours but it felt like no time at all. Very much looking forward to my next class. Some notes: -Bring your own mat, water, and a towel. -They provide yoga props (blankets, blocks). -To get to the studio enter the building at 5320 Hoag Drive (park behind the building), enter Dr. Michael Seng's office and turn right, then head up the stairs to the loft. -Try not to eat before class (you probably wouldn't feel so great if you do). -Don't wear super loose baggy clothes, they will get in the way. -Various level classes are available throughout the week, check the website for details.

As you walk in, you are transported. It's like taking a mini vacation. Santell is absolutely AMAZING. I did the 90 minute Breathe Deep massage and I can't say enough positive things about him and the entire experience. From the moment you walk in, his positive, calming energy prepares you for the amazing experience you are about to have. He is so welcoming and just an all-around genuinely good person. He makes sure you are comfortable beforehand: he lets you select an essential oil and even adjusts the temperature of the room if need be. During the massage, he is SO in tune with your body. This is no cookie-cutter massage. He pays close attention to the areas you indicate and he works to find the EXACT location of the pain. He does a deep stretch while he massages and he makes sure you are comfortable the entire time. I've never had a massage like it. I highly recommend him and Breathe in general!

The first lesson they reached them safety in rock climbing and each week they build on their skills. Lessons include - instructor, shoe rental, harness and a chalk bag. After the lessons the kids get to climb and show off that they learned to their parents. Highly recommend!

While traveling in Northern OH, we stopped to spend a day at this lovely gem of a climbing gym…read more First off: staff is super friendly, helpful, generous with their time, and offer great customer service. We brought our own climbing equipment, and the check in process was easy. As is standard for first time climbing gym entries, we completed our waivers, purchased day passes, received a tour of the facilities (gorgeous), and completed certification tests for top top and lead. Staff was knowledgeable, supportive, and made it all a breeze while also making me feel like they are importantly attentive to everyone's safety. Gold stars. Environment: As far as size go, they are probably getting right for their rural location, not huge, but big enough to offer a great variety of bouldering, top routes, and lead routes. If I counted right, they have 10 autobelays - 8 of which are on Castle Wall, and two that are on a "kid wall," which doesn't have any set routes, but has a plethora of holds for the littles to confidently work on their moves. Speaking of Castle Wall... I have to say I LOVE the artwork in this place. One of the employees told me that all the gorgeous murals on the wall were done by local artists with glow in the dark paint. Word is that they offer glow in the dark climbing on last Saturday of each month. That's gotta be sweet. Climbing: they rate climbs using the terms Easy, Easy+, Mod-, Mod, Mod+, Hard-, Hard, Hard+. People will have opinions on that; some will like it, some won't. There is a conversion chart posted on one of the front walls, but it's all pretty broad in its generalizations. That said, we stuck to Easy+ through Mod routes today, and I quite enjoyed the setting. Shout out for useful foot chips and fun, creative routes. Other details: the live aquarium in the entryway next to the huge cracker mural are gorgeous. Our kids loved the free arcade game that has all kinds of old school games, including Super Mario Bros, Paperboy, Tetris, etc. The yoga studio on the second floor is gorgeous. Love the floor to ceiling windows that span the room. Must be lovely to do yoga there. The bathrooms are nice and clean! Also: plenty of cubby and lockers are available to stash your things. Looks like you can bring a lock for the lockers if you want to. They have 4-5 round tables in the entry room where people can have snacks. We were there for 6 hours, so we made use of them. Now I'm wishing that I had taken more pics, but we were too busy having fun. Check out the website! The local community is lucky to have this gem! Nice work.
