I knew right away she'd be a perfect fit for capturing my niece, both in her cap and gown and in her super colorful prom dress (which I was confident Kree could do justice!). I have passed on so many others as they were just too far (SF, O-town). I saw that Two Trees is local and I always want to support local businesses. Of course, the deciding factor aside from his portfolio is Yelp. 5 stars? It's a go! I reached out to Joe earlier in week. He responded right away and made himself available to come out this weekend. He's very responsive, professional, and listens to your ideas. I just booked directly with Joe and he threw in some bonus images. Check, check. He offered some options as far as length of time (30 min and 60 min photo sessions). No pressure to upgrade at all. It was totally up to me. Knowing my daughter and husband (especially), they can get really antsy and impatient. That's the last thing I wanted was for unhappy shots on our Christmas cards. I ended up trying out the 30 min, just to be on the safe side. The day I e-signed the contract (a simple agreement, no intimidating language) there was a bit of drizzle and rain in the forecast for the weekend. Yikes! (I didn't expect that with all the hot weather we've been having) Joe was flexible and said we could play it by ear. In the event it did rain, he have another opening the beginning of Nov. Today was our photo session day. No rain! Woo hoo! Joe texted me an hour before to ensure the weather was good for our photo session. My family and I just had a great photo session with Joe this morning outside our home. He was a pleasure to work with. He understood my vision and captured all my ideas, weather permitting. He is very knowledgeable getting the right angle and lighting to make the picture pop. We wanted our Rubicon in the background of our shots and Joe knew exactly how to incorporate it. The Hubs wanted to include the dog in our pictures at the last minute and Joe was able to accommodate us. The whole time, we didn't feel rushed. It was just fun for everyone. As luck would have it, it starts to drizzle as soon as we were done. Phew! I can't wait to see our images in a week.
