Nice little playground park near an elementary school only a block or two from Beach Boulevard. The park is totally enclosed by a wrought iron or steel gate, built by contributions from The Lions Club. It has swings, a playground with slides, a wheelchair swing, balancing bars, climbing bars. The park has no restrooms but has a drinking fountain, benches, a paved path, pavilion with three picnic tables & a double BBQ grill. The park is shaded by several large Southern Live Oak Trees complete with Spanish Moss with an abundance of both acorns & squirrels. The park was empty, I came with my dog, I would say it is a pet friendly park (no one else was there) because it is enclosed, but is not a dog park. Parking is on a side street near the entrance. This park is directly behind what appears to be The Biloxi Police Station because there was a parking lot chock full of cop cars next door. So in other words, it is safe. read more
