We stopped on a whim here and I'm really happy we did. It is perfect for him! This is a very nice and very clean park with a wonderful paved walking path. It is right on the water with a marina. There is a playground for kiddos with what looked to be a water playground for warmer weather. There was a huge, very nice pavilion as well as a pavilion. It looks like there was beach access right across the entrance. We were there around 5:00 this evening and there were quite a few people jogging as well as several families with kids playing. It's a beautiful entrance is a very old wooden bridge over a lush and gorgeous little swamp. You can see that they had started renovating this place but it appears to have stopped. I so wish they'd continue it!! They need bathrooms, water fountains, and to plant grass where the fields are. Some shaded picnic tables would be nice also. I so hope they continue renovation!! As the name implies, there are cannons and memorials to local veterans and Katrina victims. Very respectful and nicely done. Lots of trees and shade. There are public restrooms available. There is a playground and a splash pad and lots of benches to sit and take it all in. If you are a walker (like me), a walking trail meanders through the park and has exercise stations every so often. It's more of a trail/path than a track. The surface is loose, recycled tires or rubber mulch so it's nice for a stroll but you won't get any speed up. Since the park is small, you won't get any distance unless you walk a zillion laps around. I was there on a Saturday morning and there was a Craft fair/Farmer's market going on, with a lot of vendors, artists, and growers all peddling their wares. There were some tasty-looking food trucks too. I didn't ask but it seems like the market is a regular event. It may be every Saturday, and certainly weather-dependent, but I didn't get to find out how often.

Nice little playground park near an elementary school only a block or two from Beach Boulevard. The…read morepark is totally enclosed by a wrought iron or steel gate, built by contributions from The Lions Club. It has swings, a playground with slides, a wheelchair swing, balancing bars, climbing bars. The park has no restrooms but has a drinking fountain, benches, a paved path, pavilion with three picnic tables & a double BBQ grill. The park is shaded by several large Southern Live Oak Trees complete with Spanish Moss with an abundance of both acorns & squirrels. The park was empty, I came with my dog, I would say it is a pet friendly park (no one else was there) because it is enclosed, but is not a dog park. Parking is on a side street near the entrance. This park is directly behind what appears to be The Biloxi Police Station because there was a parking lot chock full of cop cars next door. So in other words, it is safe.
