Changing insurance always makes me look into new doctors. I figure it's prime time to determine if…read morea doctor has a good bedside manner and is efficient at their job, as well as convenient and economical. I ended up switching doctors based on reviews I read about Dr. Jacqueline Ramirez. Mostly what convinced me was her attitude. I'm a big believer in doctors caring about their patients and not treating them like a number and she fits the bill. She's a bit different than doctors I'm used to. She has a D.O. rather than an M.D. and admittedly that made me hesitant, but meeting her and being attended by her changed that. I have never felt so comfortable with a primary physician. It felt like talking to a friend, and when I went back to get lab work results, I ended up seeing another doctor at this office and it's the same feeling. You cannot go wrong at this office. At least with the doctors. Very humane, very willing to help. The only reason I give four stars instead of five is because I had to call LabCorp for being billed inappropriately. Eh, that's what I get for doing the lab work at the office for $20, but it is what it is. Mistakes happen.

The entire Invitro process was extremely stressful but Dr. Soto would always say the encouraging words you needed to hear. There were some very sad and worrisome days. Dr Soto and his staff, both clinical and administrative, were outstanding. I was greeted promptly and professionally upon entering the clean and bright office. Vanessa who was warm and supportive took me to the back for my vitals. Shortly after I met dr Soto who was friendly and made me feel comfortable immediately. Dr Soto did the procedure quickly and without any discomfort while talking me through the whole process. They gave me the report and images on a usb drive immediately after the sonogram and he promptly emailed my dr in Nyc the results. There was an insurance hiccup upon checkout and Ana, the manager, solved all my problems quickly and efficiently. Thank you to dr Soto, Vanessa and all the staff for being so welcoming!

Others in feedbacks have reported the opposite. However, the office is a minor disaster! During my first visit, the front desk receptionist was distant, hostile looking and evasive. For this appointment, the office never called to confirm the appointment 24 hours before. I had to call to make sure it was scheduled. At my second visit, the front desk receptionist was a different young lady and somewhat distant but pleasant. After waiting about 20 minutes I asked when would Dr. Khouri be available. She said that the doctor was not available as I was being seen by Karina, a Registered Nurse Practitioner. Who thinks they can change who we are to see??!! I rescheduled and walked out. Today I called 2 times to confirm my appointment as they never called yesterday. The phone rang 9 times but no one answered. Waited 15 minutes and called again and this time after the phone rang 12 times a recording came on in English and Spanish at a speed where a Weather Meteorologist would not understand. Left my info confirming that if they didn't call back I would not drive to Key Biscayne not knowing what to expect. Lack of staff training, supervision and doctors biting off more than they can chew!!
