This "auto repair shop" is just bad. I was advised to go here because it was cheap and reliable…read more Eventually, I ended up having the worst repair shop experience in my life so far. The mechanic charged me $350 for repairs and I paid it off. He told that the warranty would reimburse me back the money (it was my first time using a vehicle-warranty). Later, the car was given back but the malfunction continued. I took it back to the shop and this time the mechanic requested from me $700 for repairs. I gave up his word and called the warranty about the reimbursement and coverage. I was advised that the mechanic was requesting the reimbursement for himself and have never called back ever since. I rang up the mechanic about the situation and he hung up on me. I went up to his shop and he madly requested $150 for my car to be discharge from his shop. He said that he was not longer interested on working in my car and "negotiating" with my warranty. I paid him the $150 for the sake of peace of mind but he refused to give me a receipt. The reimbursement was delivered to my mail box but it was not the amount I was expecting. The warranty's representatives advised me that no claims were filed correctly by the repair shop. I took my car to San Antonio at the Mini Cooper agency and the repairs came out free!!! No charges were added because it was it covered under my warranty. Later on, I found out that the mechanic was still calling and insisting my warranty about the reimbursement.
