Not only is he an outstanding Neurosurgeon, but he is a caring and ethical man. Faced with a frightening spinal surgery, I saw Dr. Sheldon for another opinion. After the most thorough exam I ever had, Dr. Sheldon took the time to review my MRI and X-rays with me. He actually explained what I was looking at on the MRI. After discussing my concerns and fears about having the surgery, he persuaded me to try alternative treatments. He corroborated the serious nature of the surgery and the risks involved and told me honestly that I should not rush into this. I found that extremely impressive, since he operates for a living.
