Imagine trying several gyms and class pass fitness classes in the area over the years (equinox, la fitness, 24 hour fitness, f45, etc) and struggling to complete workouts because of past pain points from injuries or accidents. I've yo-yo-ed with my weight throughout the years, but more so since the pandemic happening. I've also hit my 30s, which means my metabolism is slowing down. Britney and Evan are a dynamic duo who help provide not only solutions and framework to heal my past pain, but also a real way to get stronger and achieve it. They've created a community that honestly helps fuel me because we're doing it all together. I love the way the workouts are created and allocated throughout the week, and it gives me a consistent way to stay active. Because we run our businesses during the day, we love the 6am class. Above all, I'm learning how to properly engage my muscles and learning proper form which is knowledge I will take with me throughout my entire lifetime. Britney's patience, keen eye, and pure genius makes it so pleasant to be around, it doesn't even feel like work. It feels like hanging out with my super cool neighbor who wants to teach me a few lessons about my health and wellness. She makes me feel confident that I can achieve my goals while holding my hand throughout the way. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I'm a mom of 3 (ages 7,4,2) and I'm a physician (working on avg 65-70hr work weeks) and, somehow, Brittany makes it worth my while to get into the gym 3 times per week! I have been training with Britt for a whole year and I've never missed a week. The community is amazing, the workouts suck (in an excellent way), and the changes I have made mentally and physically blow my mind everyday. I love Brittany as a human, as a trainer, as a mom, and as a friend! I have done everything from CrossFit to LA fitness and this is by far my most favorite thing ever. read more

I'm finally back in a great workout routine after years of struggling with getting myself motivated to go to the gym. I especially like how personalized the training and sessions are. I will definitely be sticking around and continuing to get stronger! read more

For the first time, I actually look forward to working out. Brittany does an amazing job of tailoring workouts to your abilities and limitations and building strength where you need it most. She is thoughtful, inspiring, kind and inspirational. And the cherry on top is the tiny but mighty community I've built during my morning sessions! 10/10 recommend. read more

This review is for Evan's new group fitness program, STROKE. I tried the class this past Sunday and it was really fun and effective- I was so sore after the class! The class is limited to 8 people a session and we started with a circuit where you spent 2 minutes at each station. After that, we had a break and then went back to the station Tabata style. Workouts for my session included, but was not limited to deadlifts, knee tucks, squats, leg lifts, use of the ski-erg, rower and more! Plan to spend a couple minutes look for parking and parking - since it's in a residential neighborhood and there were a lot of us here for the class -but we found parking no problem the next street over. read more

Brittany is the best. The best motivator, coolest coach, and she makes working out fun. How many people can do that? You may die temporarily from the workout but you always feel good after. Idk how she does it. I've tried working out on my own at gyms like La fitness, I tried classes at a CrossFit-hybrid style gym, cycling classes, just something that would make me want to stick with it and see results. Brittany does that. I've seen results faster and better than anything else. I feel stronger, more confident, and better overall. Did I mention she makes working out fun? Because of her, I've only missed one class! I actually get excited to go to class and get sad when I have to reschedule a class. I cannot thank Brittany enough for all the great work she puts in and her energy in every class. You're very lucky to experience the mom that's strong as flock! read more

Morning light arrives. Santa Monica winds fly to Culver City, an adjacent West LA enclave. Ma and pa panaderias, dry cleaners, and coffee spots unlock their doors. And as you do, you soon realize this is a place to boost your physical well-being, mind, and spirit. Time and time again, the positive vibes from the others around you never stop. Started out with LookLike a few months before my wedding to get in shape and now have been there for about 2 years! I personally do NOT enjoy trying to keep up with group fitness classes and one-on-one personal training is just too expensive. Looklike/Britt provides the affordable semi-personal training that I was looking for and the flexibility we all need for this chaotic LA life we live. I've never been this consistent with any form of fitness training ever! read more

I've been working with Britt for about 6 weeks. It's my first time working with a PT. I can't express how much these sessions have done for me. I love the semi-private format. You get enough individual attention but also get to work along side others which is really motivating. It is such a wonderful and supportive community. Never in a million years would I think I'd look forward to gym-ing, much less at 6:00 a.m. I mean, who have I become?? It's all due to Britt. She is the perfect trainer. She's a badass, she's knowledgeable, she's fun and she inspires everyone she works with. I'm 51. I hadn't done much of any strength training since my 20s. I could hardly do a few push ups. Every week, I feel stronger and impressed at what my body is capable of doing. If you're hesitating on pursuing training, do it! It's 100% worth the investment. read more

I LOVE LookLike, LTD fitness but especially training with Brittany. She has created such a welcoming, positive, motivating and friendly place. It's a small boutique gym out of her home but packs a punch. It doesn't feel small at all. They have so much equipment that I still haven't used everything. It's semi-personal but it always feels like personal one-on one training. Brittany is constantly pushing me and challenging me which I absolutely love. The sessions are never more than 6 people and everyone is working on something different depending on their strengths/ workout plan. I consider myself an active person and have done every fitness class in LA. I have done Barry's, Soulcycle, pilates, boxing and Orange Theory. You name it....I have done it. I have NEVER seen the results I have until I started training with Brittany. I have muscles and I have dropped 3 pant sizes. I feel myself getting stronger and stronger everyday! My initial goal walking in was to feel strong and I have gained so much more. I walk out of all my sessions feeling so empowered, challenged and wanting more. I feel so confident physically and mentally. It's such a supporting community and I have made some really good friends too. If you want personal training go to Brittany. You're in great hands! read more

For so many years I would constantly tell people, "I HATE WORKING OUT". I would join countless gyms and *attempt* fitness the best I could but nothing would click. Desperate for a solution, I found Britt through TikTok and told myself I have nothing to lose. Fast forward two months and I am now a 6 AM WORKOUT LOVER who can't imagine her week without training with Britt. In these last two months, I have NEVER skipped a workout session, NEVER made excuses, and have ALWAYS given my 100% to a workout. Turns out I just needed to find the right trainer and the right gym - Britt at Looklike, LTD. All of this is a true testament to Britt and her knowledge and expertise. The community of women she has created are welcoming, non-judgmental, and offer their unconditional support to help you on your fitness journey. If you are looking to make a change in your lifestyle and have been struggling for a solution, Britt is your best bet. read more

I've never had a workout routine, until now. I've had memberships at big gyms but didn't know how to properly use the machines or set up a program. I've tried everything from hot yoga to pilates but found I could never stick with it, either because the class schedules were too rigid or because I felt self-conscious. LookLike is totally different. Brittany comes up with unique and challenging workout plans and knows how to push you, while also allowing you to progress at your own pace. The semi-private format is super fun. You'll get to know your workout buddies, swap stories and restaurant recommendations -- and cheer each other on along the way! If you're looking to set up a workout routine and that actually works for you, I can't recommend LookLike enough. read more

I've been working with Evan for about 2 years now and I haven't been this fit since my peak activity years in school. Evan looks at the big picture of my overall strength and mobility and bases workouts on a detailed individual plan. His workouts are never boring--he's always varying the routines. And he's always looking for ways to expand his knowledge base through various conferences and certifications. I appreciate his systematic approach. Evan is the first trainer I've worked with and I feel lucky to have met up with him. read more

This past Sunday, I tried our Evan's group fitness class. It had 8 people in this session total; and he utilized the spacing extremely well so that it never felt crowded -- always felt like a private lesson. Evan kept the class moving, starting with a little warm up run (great warm up) and we moved around the stations as a circuit structured class, 2 times through (1.5-2 minutes at each station 2x through). There was a great variety of workouts: jump rope, rowing, deadlifts, box jumps, etc. By the time the hour was up, I was not only drenched but definitely felt that I used pieces of my body I hadn't in awhile. I am already living in a fit body, but the exercises Evan tested us on, definitely made me feel the burn. I personally need to be distracted and entertained while I workout to eliminate being bored, I confidently can say... never was a dull moment!! Additionally from the great workout that this already was, the gym has some perks: clean towels, water station, and parking. Who doesn't love a semi-private class, we all need the attention when trying to hit our fitness goals and correcting our form! Looking forward to working more with Evan, and tuning into my fitness goals. read more

Evan is a spectacular trainer! His workouts are customized to suite my needs and goals - from either weight loss to building muscle and achieving strength gains. He pushes you to the maximum, from bench presses and deadlifts to pull-ups and sled pushes. He has an arsenal of equipment in his personal gym that work out all of your muscle groups. I am especially fond of the clubs and the gigantic war mace that I get to swing around across my back/head. The music is fun and upbeat and so is the workout. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to achieve their goals to give Evan and his facility a try! Roland read more

I came to Evan when I was at my absolutely worst. I hated what I looked like as I had gained over fifty pounds over the course of four years. No matter what I did I just couldn't seem to get the weight off and in turn slipped deeper and deeper into a dark hole. I found Evan on a whim while I was scrolling through the app next door one day. Went in for a consultation and immediately was obsessed with his training style and his workouts. So far I'm down almost twenty five pounds which is absolutely unbelievable. He holds you accountable, pushes you to your absolute limit and truly believes in you, which is so genuine and rare. Can not recommend him enough!! read more

I can't recommend Evan and LookLike, LTD enough. What initially attracted me to become a client of Evan's was his gym. I mean, the space is SO COOL. He has a large range of equipment that he uses to mix up workouts. The fact that he built the gym by handwas very impressive and already told a story of how dedicated he was to fitness. Once I started training with him I also realized how dedicated he was to the success of his clients. He pushes you to your max because he believes you can do it. It's pretty empowering once you get through a set that is seemingly impossible. And he's there pumping you up every second of the way. If you're thinking about training with Evan, do it. read more

Britt's gym is nothing short of fantastic. Exactly what I was look for in LA. I've struggled with consistency at the gym my entire life, but for the first time ever, I've now successfully completed 10 weeks, 3x per week of her training program, and I haven't missed a single session yet. I give 100% of the credit to her challenging, always changing workouts and her kind, supportive, fun energy. 6 more weeks to go, and I'm already feeling so much more toned. I can not say enough positive things about LookLike LTD and one of it's trainers, Zach Murray. When I moved to Los Angeles a few years back, I weighed 240 pounds and had not regularly worked out in years. Working out with Zach these last 2+ years (first at Equinox and then at LookLike) has made me feel better about myself, has made me stronger, and I'm down 20 pounds (and am keeping it off). Zach is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and takes the time to tailor every workout to the individual. He knows exactly how to motivate me to do my best and I genuinely look forward to my workouts (something I never did before training with him). He also genuinely cares, and makes a point of checking in with me on a regular basis to see if I've kept up with my training, and if I'm eating well. I was worried when Zach left Equinox to go to a smaller gym that the workouts might suffer, but it's been the exact opposite. The gym has everything you might need to get into the best shape of your life. It's well-maintained, clean, and Evan, the owner of the gym, cares about creating an environment that every client is proud to work out in. I am so grateful to Zach for getting me into better shape, for caring about my well-being, and to LookLike for the amazing environment to work out in, where I feel comfortable and excited to show up every week. I recommend you run (don't walk) to LookLike today, and sign up with Zach Murray. You will not regret it. read more
