The shirts are actually very cute. The suppliers and sizing is so insanely varied though, that it's just hard to know what you'll get. The online size guide says the women's 2xl is 50" across the chest, 30" long. The first batch of 2XL I got was 44" across, 29" long, which they say is XL size. So 1 size off. Well, that's fine. I sized up because sizing can vary a bit brand to brand anyhow. They still fit nice, loose and flowy like I like. Following order, same. Ordered some XL women's tanks (they don't have 2xl) and those fit similar to the 2XL t shirts did. Well, that makes sense since the 2XL shirts were actually the size of the XL. Tried 2XL juniors tanks. Those were probably a couple sizes smaller, VERY narrow through the bust and didn't fit well. Ok, so I just won't repeat. I only bought a couple anyhow. Overall still reasonably happy at this point. Unisex XL, fit just about as expected. Unisex xl tanks were narrow and long and had an odd fit, but were wearable. Unisex 2XL tanks were far too big and had a completely different shape. Figuring out sizing cost me a few wasted bucks over 3 different orders and trying out various sizes, but I figured I had it down now so it was only uphill from here.
Then I placed a bigger t shirt order. 8 shirts. All women's 2xl, which is what had fit me the best. That's where the problems started. When I placed the order, it was estimated to arrive October 23-25th. One of the shirts was for Halloween. It didn't even ship until the 26th. Arrived after Halloween. I still overlooked it. Tried the shirts on. 1 fit. The other 7 waaaay too tight. I measured them. They're only about 37" around. 7" smaller than all the others I'd ordered in that size, and 13" smaller than their website lists. They were also less stretchy, so it just didn't work at all. This was a different shirt brand than any of the others I'd ordered so I figured they got a dud for a supplier and I thought they'd make it right. They have a free exchange policy right? Well, no. Not exactly. Because I was such a good customer and ordered so many shirts, I had to pay return shipping. Yes, even though the sizing was off by 13 whole inches around. They wouldn't budge. It was feeling a bit like a bait and switch at this point.
If I'd only ordered a couple shirts, it sounds as though they would have made it right and followed through with the free exchange. Because I bought more from them, I guess they decided I wasn't a very valuable customer. Which seems very backwards. I'm very laid back and polite. I don't mind mistakes being made, it happens to everyone sooner or later. I can even forgive slow shipping and long wait times on emails. Life happens. But if customer service isn't there and they can't stand behind their products and make it right, then I just can't see spending any money with a business like that. No matter how adorable the clothes are. read more
