Yesterday got the only woman in the place who spoke maybe two words to me, was very rough cutting my hair like she did not want to do it, and then never even blew any hair off when finished, and finally pulled the cover off of me and sent hair all over my shirt and walked away to the register. Probably the rudest barber I've ever had. Will not see her again if I go back and highly recommend steering clear of her. The woman should not be in a public facing job.

As it was my first visit to this barber shop and thinking that perhaps my instructions were just unclear, I gave it another go today. This time Danny was the barber. He asked how I wanted it ... and I said: "Just trim and shape it to remove the straggly ends and get the hair off of my ears. Not too short. Just a trim!" Result ? I actually think its shorter than when his wife cut it! :( ... and @ a cost of $25. I think I'll need to seek a barber elsewhere that does what is asked. Perhaps one that uses scissors a bit more and doesn't simply fire up and rely on electric shears for most of the work.

It worked great in my schedule and the front desk woman (Sonia?) was friendly and very sweet and accommodating. They asked for a $25 credit card to hold the appointment. I never have had that before, but I get it, with this being a tourist area in the summer...and people can forget when on vacation. Just wanted the review to note that so you know. Sam aka Samantha :-) was my stylist. She was so nice and was very deliberate in her application of highlights. She asked me a lot of questions and listened before we started. The highlights turned out great and hid my gray salt and pepper and blended into my previous highlights. She gave me a great haircut too, perfect length taken off and nice layering. The salon was quaint and everyone was friendly. I recommend the salon and Sam my stylist.

Thanks for ruining my hair and treating me like crap, you unprofessional hairdressers. At least I have it on record now that you are not like other salons I researched on the web, where a complaint like mine is taken seriously, and to quote a line from Salon's better business practices, one should always attempt to refund an angry customer.
