After about 45 minutes of waiting, our food arrived, and it was absolutely delicious. I don't think I've ever had anything like that before and I'm sad that I am not local and may never have it again. Everyone was pleased with their meals. We had to ask for the check as soon as the food arrived and sadly couldn't afford any more time to savor it as much as we all wanted to. There is nowhere to sit and eat (even pre-pandemic). It's a takeout joint. They certainly make you feel welcome while you are waiting for your order, though. We usually just take ours to the riverfront and dine at the park. They have a pretty good setup for phone ordering and pickup in the current pandemic too. Park in front of the door, call in your order, and they will summon you when it is ready for pickup. One person is allowed inside to pay and grab the order. Quick and easy!

I knew that I wanted the real deal poutine so I ordered the original. I didn't have to wait very long for my order to get ready. The first thing I noticed about my poutine was it was very hot (temperature wise). And then the most important part for me was the gravy. It was so flavorful. I mean I loved the cheese curds and fries but the gravy stood out. My overall impression of poutine was that it was very good.
