It's always a fun low stimulation activity we enjoy doing on the rainy days. We love all the inclusiveness to the facility. It never seems to be too busy. Parents have always been very attentive to their own children. There's a little kid room. I'd say more for ages 1-7. There are signs and rules to follow. Our child hasn't got sick from this place yet, mind the signs, please. When a sign says "shows off" take yo shoes off. Then there's a bigger kid room (my toddler loves it nonetheless). This room has more ages 5-10 age range. There's some nature stuff, a tiny grocery store with cute carts. Doctors office. The train was a newer one. There's different STEM type activities as well. Very open space for many kids to play at once. It's extremely cute for a nonprofit kids space. Then occasionally they have their "Science Room" open. It's pretty cute! A little more for older kids like 7-13. Definitely keep an eye on your more squirrelly kids in this area. But very cool space when it's open! Anyhoosies, we really enjoy the CDM. They also do events quite often. I believe they have a mascot. They're pretty active on their Facebook page. Only downside, their hours change often it seems. Having just recently discovered Longview / Kelso, we were not that impressed with our local…read moreofferings for the Fourth of July celebrations (too lame / too crowded) so we opted for a change in scenery and headed out to Longview figuring a city of that size should have something. Our server at Izzy's recommended the GoFourth Festival and said it was a long standing tradition and a lot of fun, though parking is hell and it is crowded. We arrived at about 8PM and easily found an ADA parking spot after one full pass of the area. Great spot that was close to all of the fun and easy to get in and out of as well. It paid to have an injured foot this year!!!! Great music, fun, food, and a nice family friendly event. Awesome police presence and crowd control. Nice mellow vibe,even though it was quite packed, was still relaxing and a fun place to people watch. One of the best fireworks displays we have seen in a long time. Lake Sacajawea Park is beautiful!! The perfect spot for such a great event. GOLD STAR for all that planned, worked, and organized this awesome festival!!! Job well done. No complaints at all. Looking forward to making this our regular Fourth of July event!!!

They also don't sell logo balls individually and expect you to pay $15 for a sleeve of TP5s with logos instead. Course was fine, very challenging. Very hilly on the front. Greens are one of the fastest I've ever played next to Arizona greens. I really enjoy Mint Valley the public course next door. And you can hit driver and they have a huge putting green.

We also scheduled a tour of the blast zone and encountered beautiful scenery, landscapes and wildlife. The tour was eye opening on the amount of devistation and change that can take place so quickly in a catastropic event. Most people think you have to go to either Portland or Seattle for good live theater. But sandwiched between those cities is Longview And there they have the Columbia Theater for the Performing Arts. And one block down is Stageworks Northwest. Stageworks Northwest calls the old Longview Theater their home and the place is being restored. The plays and musicals there are creative with a good variety. Set design is excellent and acting, singing and dancing is delightful as well. All for a price that doesn't break the bank. I just saw a Rodgers and Hammerstein review which was 2 hours of great music. Before that, I watched a drama about 2 war photographers trying to adjust to life back home. And before that I was at a science fiction musical that used old rock and roll tunes mixed with space. All of them so well done. Stageworks Northwest is a cool place and I highly recommend it.
