The food was decent for bar food. I was a bit surprised when the chips in fish and chips were actually chips. However, they were good so it was alright. The fish was cooked well and had a good crunch. It was lacking in the seasoning department, but nothing a little table salt and pepper couldn't doctor up a tad. The service was lacking quite a bit. We were pretty much ignored in terms of refills and check ins. The seating is really crammed with people in every nook and cranny. It is loud, but that's to be expected for a sports bar. Our service on a Monday night was spectacular, the beer cold, and the appetizers good; however, I noticed that Longneck's appears to have adapted to the modern 'tip' scam I've seen at a few other locations. The 'tip' scam is when you receive the final bill, in this case, without any itemization, and you have a total INCLUDING TAXES. You're then asked to figure out your own percentage or punch 18, 20, 25% in on a terminal but that results in tipping on the tax, too. Pay attention to your bill. read more

This here single serve pizza will grease your engine. That's not a knock (pun intended) but wow it's drippin. More cheese than needed. A long pull so be prepared with plenty of napkins. I joined a group of high school classmates here a few weeks ago. We graduated together in 1971. We were gathered around a long table with guys moving freely around the table talking. This bar is a wide open space so the servers clearly get their steps in. Aside from our group they were having a pretty busy lunch crowd and the staff seemed to be keeping up with their work. Soon after my arrival our server, Sara S, began taking orders from those of us who had arrived later than the others and some orders had begun coming out. I ordered a deluxe cheeseburger with crispy fires and a bottle of Miller Lite. This was not the first time that this group had been here but as I had just recently come to find out about the gathering it was my first time with the group and the first time at Longnecks. Sara was soon delivering my beer and conversation continued around the table. Soon a group of orders arrived to the table with food runners helping Sara while she directed the meals to be delivered to the appropriate customers. When my food arrived it was fresh and hot, the fries were clearly crispy. My burger was cooked perfectly and delicious. I enjoyed my time here and the food was impressive. Sara's service was excellent on an individual basis but also her handling of this 22 top table was professional and well done. I went to Longnecks today with a friend for lunch. It was my first time going, he said it was one of his favorite places. I can tell you now it is one of mine as well. The outside doesn't promise too much. Lots of parking but an unremarkable building and a pylon sign on the roadside. But once you enter it is very lively! Sports memorabilia and regalia adorn the walls, lots of TV's to enjoy sporting events from. There's plenty of seating and tables to accommodate parties of any size. The servers and all other staff members were very outgoing and friendly. All were extremely courteous and friendly. We both had the grilled cheddar and ham sandwiches served on a pretzel bun, with a side of Saratoga chips. Longnecks has a varied menu full of appetizers and bar type foods. It wouldn't be a sports bar without a wide variety of brews and cocktails. The wings caught my eye on their menu, and I will definitely try those on my next trip. Great sports grill, especially on Tuesdays for $2 beers. Tuesday night is also trivia night and they are usually packed. TVs are everywhere, which is what you want from a sports bar. Nice family friendly location and a great menu. Brought the family for dinner and was not disappointed. From the start, an incredible beer menu including crafts and even interesting creations of mixed beers. Apps came quickly. Chips and salsa were good as were the wings. BBQ sauce was tangy but not too hot. Had the Bacon Chicken Ranch pizza, jalapeno burger and steak hogie. All tasted great and served in style. Went for the first time in Winter. The inside ambiance was not too bright lighting with plenty of large screen tv's. Also had a lot of neat, wide Cincinnati portraits and pictures of the city. Open air floor plan and had a pool table and bar on one side, while the other side was regular tables, kitchen order counter, and fireplace, it also led to the outside seating section. Was pick your own seat. The waitress showed up not long after sitting down and took orders. The menu was extensive and could fit any taste-picky or fancy- and they had a good selection. The food arrived decently quick and fit my expectations for bar food with a big menu. The wings are priced to the market. You could probably have a bigger group come here for parties or viewing the games. I definitely recommend coming here and will be back to try something else from the menu. read more

Food was inedible . I ordered the ribs however they came cold and chewy. My friends who also got ribs had very tender and nice ribs. Very nice ribs very nice ribs. I can't say the same for myself. I'd give zero stars if I could. In November, my fiance and her daughter went to the Wilder location. After waiting at the front for several minutes, we were told that the "seat yourself" sign was turned around. We sat ourselves and after 15 minutes, went to the bar and got our own drinks and menus. No server came, after 15 more minutes, another family sat down right next to us and the server IMMEDIATELY took their orders and walked right past us. On her way back with their drinks, I asked her if she saw us, she said she just started her shift at 5 and thought someone else was servicing us. None of that were true as we'd been there for 30 minutes already. We spoke to the manager and he said all the servers are supposed to serve "everyone". That didn't happen. He refunded our money for the beer and asked us if we wanted to order food. We kindly declined. After this I emailed them twice and got no response. Sidenote, I am black, they are white. I hear the commercials where they claim to be a sports bar. Outside on their sign advertising a much anticipated college bb game. The place was packed with fans and the place was energized. All was well until the second half... imagine the entire place getting set for the second half of the game and all of a sudden the sound is off and someone starts reading trivia.. the whole place was upset but in thier words "we always have trivia on Tuesday" followed rudely by "we're not stopping trivia" . We stayed in a hotel just down the street, and I asked for a good restaurant in the area that I can get fish and chips from. This was the recommendation that the lady at the hotel gave us. This is definitely a sports bar, and I would not expect to come to a place like this for fish and chips. It was Just ok. We ordered the Korean Spring rolls which were definitely not made in house. Nor were they worth the amount of money that we spent. Five Little egg rolls that were previously frozen with a hint of flavor. My husband loved the wings, my fish were special and he I thought his ribs were OK also. They tasted like they were baked, and the food came out so quick that nothing could have honestly been fresh. Maybe the wings were flash fried originally, and then finished off in the grease upon order. And possibly the fish also because it doesn't take that long, but Honestly, the best part of my mail was the steamed broccoli. Everyone was nice, but I got the feeling that this was a local joint where local people come to hang out. All the servers were passing certain people and holding conversations with them. We kind of just sat there until our server made her way back around to our area. By the way, there was only three tables in our area. The one that had just walked in that was the most popular, our table and the other table that was finishing up their food. It wasn't a long wait time for the food, but I certainly did not feel as welcomed as the local people that kept coming in. And it's not to say that I server was not nice, she definitely was. But there was definitely a different vibe with strangers versus your locals. After she came to the table and brought us our receipt, we sat there about 10 minutes waiting for her to come back. She was over at the table congregating so we decided to get up and walk to the bar to pay for the tab. She quickly came running towards us and said she would settle the bill. How are we supposed to know that? I think she thought we had ordered 100 bucks worth of food I was going to try and dip out. We'll go with the good first. It's a pretty typical sports bar, with a ton of TVs that ensure you can watch no matter where you are sitting. They have a pretty good beer selection, and on Tuesdays it's just $2 all day (I presume it's busy - haven't come for that yet). The food was good too - my husband really liked the wings, and I enjoyed my calzone. There are also games to play like pool, darts, etc. The size and openness of the place is a big plus, too. Now the not-so-good: It is a seat yourself place, so when it's busy, that can sometimes be a mess. They also allow smoking here. I'm not even sure the last time I was anywhere that allowed smoking, but it's allowed here. I do not enjoy leaving anywhere and being able to smell the smoke in my hair and on my clothes, so this was a HUGE negative for me. But, I know there are plenty of smokers out there who I am sure are thrilled to have this an available option. All in all, I'd return here to watch sports or play some trivia, but it wouldn't be my go-to for a night out. read more

They had a good selection of various craft beers and their food was good as well.The waitress was also friendly and somewhat knowledgeable on the beer. I've heard mixed reviews about this place, and some said the food was really good. My friends and I decided to give it a try after seeing a movie. Let me start off with this, before I even get to the food. The service was absolutely horrible. Some of the worst I'd ever experienced. Our waitress was slow, and just not attentive at all. It wasn't that busy. So I don't know what the problem was. There were 4 of us. 2 placed our orders right away, 2 needed a few more minutes. We all get our drinks right away, that's fine. The next time the waitress comes to the table is to bring 2 of us our food. She didn't even take the orders from the other 2. My friend and I were done eating before she even took the order from the other 2. And she was like "okay to ahead with your order." No "oh sorry I completely forgot about you." So we were here way longer than we wanted to be. We all had to ask for drink refills, they were not offered, and it was usually a good 5-10 minutes in between getting them after we asked. We were here probably 2 hours just because of the service we received. Absolutely awful. Onto the food: I ordered a burger medium well. It was more than well done. It was very dry and bland. My friend ordered his well done, it was burnt. The others didn't have any issues, but they said it was nothing special. They both got chicken. It wasn't anything worth coming back for. But most of all, the service just flat out sucked. I hate giving one stars but this was just such an awful experience. If you're gonna take forever, please be friendly and apologetic about it. Long Necks is a sports bar with a huge separate dinning area a bar and lots and lots of Flat screens. But the food is not your typical bar food. This was my 3rd visit and every time I have been pleasantly surprise. My friend had a Wilder burger and soup both delicious. I ordered some Jambalaya and chicken salad also very good. Ok, so Longnecks is your pretty standard sports bar. Nothing exceptional, nothing horrible. The good: Lots of TVs! Like everywhere, so regardless of where you sit you will have a good view of your favorite team. They have a pretty good draft beer selection (10+). They have $2 Tuesdays - all draft beer is $2, but expect a crowd on these days. They also have pretty good pizza - their chicken bacon ranch pizza is great. Pool table, darts, and boxing game also are a nice touch. The mediocre: Standard bar food. Lots of fried stuff, though they do have a pretty good selection of sandwiches. Their pot roast sandwich and chicken sandwiches are pretty good. Their Cuban has been either great or mediocre on different occasions. They serve all sandwiches with saratoga chips, 0.50 upcharge for a very small side of BBQ sauce (not enough for the amount of chips they give), and upcharge to exchange for any other sides. Also, this bar has 'pitcher' specials, but their pitchers only fill 3 pint glasses, unlike the usual 4 which is a standard sized pitcher. When Longnecks is packed, expect slow service and 30+ minutes to get your food. If its a Tuesday and there's a UK or Louisville BB game, expect no available seats unless you show up 2+ hours before the game, and 15 minutes to even get the attention of someone behind the bar. 3 stars for food and atmosphere, extra 1/2 star for both $2 Tuesdays and a pretty good draft beer selection. read more

My experience. Upon arrival, I went to the ladies room to wash my hands and learned there was no soap in the women's restroom. I ask a waitress if she would refill it and smiled and said, "of course." 2 HOURS later I went back to learn there was still no soap. I mean how disgusting. For 2 hours (that I know of) women guest and waitresses were using the restroom and not washing their hands. Come on, the waitresses are bringing guest their food and drinks. Anyways, I see the same waitress standing around texting, so I decide to ask another girl who is standing behind the bar with her back to the guest also texting. So I ask her, for the love of god, please put some soap in the girls restroom, I want to wash my hands. She points me to hand sanitizer on the bar. I insist on soap. She goes to change it and I wait outside the restroom. After a while I thought, damn, this is taking an awfully long time to change the soap. I just go in. Long behold, she is standing in front of the sink, TEXTING! I'm glad I didn't hold my breath. Makes you wonder, if these waitresses are too lazy to change the women's restroom soap, what is happening behind the scenes? Food is below mediocre & too salty anyways. read more

We were in town for a concert at Riverbend and were pumped to see a sports bar across the street from our hotel. So pumped, we ended up going both before AND after the show. Longnecks is clean, has plenty of space and caters to those who appreciate watching 20 TVs at once. Their menu consists of typical bar food selections -- and I think we pretty much tried every fried thing on the menu. Mozzarella sticks, boneless wings, jalapeno poppers, fried pickles (spears, yay!), fried mushrooms... all definitely edible and guilt-inducing. I tried the turkey burger with their homemade chips and BBQ sauce, which was pretty good. The burger had a peppery flavor, which I love, but also had an odd spongy texture. The chips were amazing and I could have just eaten a basket of those with the tasty BBQ sauce. We got some buckets of bud light, which were an okay deal. I am more of a craft beer fan, but all day drinking does not lend itself to heavy beers post-concert. Our service was okay -- great during our pre-concert visit and a little slow & inattentive during our late night return. Understandable I suppose since it was much busier. This bar seems like a spot a lot of locals enjoy, and a place to go when Downtown Cincy is too far/expensive. We got to witness a wedding party's after-hours celebration and a two-man band that I'm pretty sure wants to be Tenacious D. It was VERY weird that people were able to smoke inside, being that I'm from Columbus where smoking indoors has been banned for awhile. I work nearby and there are a few people that FREQUENT longneck's from work. Last night was my first venture into this rather expansive bar, I was surprised by how large it is on the inside. If you are looking to have a good time and bowl a few games or golf a few rounds this is the place to do it. It was around 12:00 a.m. on a friday night and it wasn't dead but it wasn't packed either. When we got there we had to wait 10 to 15 minutes to even get waited on, when we did we were served no napkins or silverware but we're asked for drinks which they came immediately. Although they didn't have the drinks that we wanted, we went ahead and ordered anyway. We ordered chicken wings, fruit bowl and sweet potato fries. The chicken wings were undercooked with very little sauce on them with no blue cheese which we had ordered , the sweet potato fries where overcooked and dry.
