Based on the testing conducted, a protocol was assigned, which included supplementation. We followed the assigned program in its entirety during a 3-month period of treatment. After each month, with no visible results, we raised concern and were told that it could take up to 60 days, then it could take up to 60-90 days. We "trusted the process" as holistic care can take some time. After 90 days of treatment, extensive supplementation that netted zero positive results, and having spent over $3,800, we expressed our displeasure to the doctor. She explicitly stated that 'I must be missing something' and 'had exhausted her modalities and scope of care.' She recommended we consult with Dr. Hayden who might be able to 'fill in the gaps and holes I missed.' Clearly, the root/main cause was incorrectly diagnosed during the entire process. Not our fault! We followed the assigned protocols 100%. We requested reimbursement or adequate compensation as the misdiagnosis was clearly the main issue. The testing was inaccurate, therefore, zero progress. After phone calls and email attempts, the Doctors did not even reply or take our phone call. They showed ZERO OWNERSHIP for their inaccurate testing. They made no attempt to admit their mistakes or make them right. The Doctors and business Owner took zero responsibility! The only offer, via an office manager's email, was a free consultation that is a fraction of the amount of money we "invested". The office manager just said, 'I'm sorry and I understand your frustration.' Well, "I'm sorry" does not equate to being out over $3,800 with nothing to show for it. No ownership. No professionalism. The acupuncture beds are not the most comfortable. Due to the number of clients that they see on Saturdays, sometimes it feels a little rushed compared to the other 2 acupuncture places I've tried. At each visit, the practitioner will listen to your pulse and check your tongue. They will place fine needles throughout your body's meridians for about 20 minutes. At the end of your session, they will prescribe herbal teas and/or supplements. They informed me that they do not take insurance....although Aetna lists them as in network. They do give you a superbill if you want to submit a claim to your insurance. The out of pocket charge each visit was $105 (on the more expensive side in Houston). They usually recommend herbs on top of that so, expect to spend another $40 - $60 for a week's worth of herbal teas. FYI, the prices on the initial consultation has increased so expect to pay $130+ for that. I didn't have success with my primary treatment, but I had secondary benefits like sleeping better and less stress.

And so they have no problem actually doing a real adjustment. And because it's got substance to it, it actually last for a while and has real Relief. For example : in my own case, I had a pinch when I twisted my trunk, especially to the right and it really really hurt. When you use the block in the back and adjust me it burned like fire for a few seconds, but then the relief was just immediate. And also my neck, I've broken it twice in car accidents, spiral fracture... and it's Chiropractic and I Credit with getting me back on my feet and keeping me from actually breaking my neck when it was tender. But over the years it's gotten really stiff and the first neck adjustment only really just on one side the other side didn't really move. My second neck, Jeff, however popcorn.
