Amy is an incredible breeder and the best at what she does. She breeds such sweet, loving, well taken care of puppies!! The puppies are healthy (she does genetic testing to make sure), they have great temperaments and she is a great communicator. She kept us in the loop with pictures, updates, etc and had all the puppy information organized in a folder with food and a blanket to take home. The process was made so easy! Her home is adorable and you can tell she cares for her dogs well. It's a beautiful property out in the country! We got "Sir" a black and tan long haired dachshund and he is the cutest, sweetest little guy! I'd highly recommend getting a dachshund from Amy :)

I purchased a puppy in January, 2024. The process was simple and Amy was very responsive and friendly. I asked to double check that the puppy I wanted was a mini dachshund, and Amy confirmed this. Today, my puppy is healthy and happy. I love him and can't imagine a life without him. However... My little boy came with giardia and coccidia. It was incredibly expensive to treat as it took several rounds of antibiotics. Fast forward till today (he's now 8 months old), he is nearly 18 pounds (and still growing), which is not even close to the weight range for a mini. My vet just confirmed there is no way he is a mini dachshund and is definitely a full-sized dachshund. I love him no less, but it's really frustrating that I received a sick puppy and he's not even the breed I was told he was.

My experience with Amy was easy and positive from the beginning. She's an experienced professional breeder. I found her to be responsive, honest and very friendly. She found time for me to visit and bond with Nellibelle over the eight weeks before bringing her home, though she was super busy. The litter of beautiful doxies were gently cared for in a safe, clean environment - in her lovely home with large outdoor space. I picked up my pup at 8 weeks with initial vaccinations, a health guarantee, a registration form for American Kennel Club, a week of food, and a squeaky toy. Amy's years of experience is evident. I'm grateful to her for my sweet pup who has brought joy and warmth into to my life.

We acquired our first long-haired mini dachshund seven years ago from Longdox. She is so beautiful, healthy, funny, smart, and the sweetest dog I've ever known (and I grew up around lots of different dogs). We decided to get another long-haired mini from Longdox a year ago, and ............again, she's a remarkable dog. She is healthy, smart, feisty, hilarious and loves to cuddle. Longdox dachshunds amaze me; they are not only incredibly healthy, but have great personalities. Our 7 yr. old is sweet, calm and somewhat introverted; our 1 yr. old is more outgoing, more talkative, a fast learner and just as darling. (btw, they both get alone really well together). If you are searching for a dachshund, this is the place!

We lost our Hersey after 13 years and my daughter found a fantastic breeder and English Cream Dachshund that weighs at 10 lbs. what a joy and a great all around buying process. Amy is a great breeder that does the right thing and proves it by making this breed better!! Thanks so much again! Tim & Teresa Zetterwall

I got my blue fawn from here not realizing that blue fawn is not a recognized color by AKC and only learned that the genetic mutation that causes the blue undertone in a fawn also puts the dog at risk for alopecia. And of course, mine has developed alopecia which is extremely difficult to manage since it is incurable but also more importantly is how insufferable it is for my dog to live with. I would never recommend Tanya. And I would strongly recommend only purchasing a Frenchie from a breeder who doesn't perform genetic mutation and produce exotics like blues, lilac, fluffy, etc. Breeders who produce only recognized colors will have healthier dogs.

During the course of the year we have spent almost $8,000.00 on medical expenses, allergy testing, medication, and anything that we thought could help our little baby. We've tried to reach out to tanya on more than one occasion the first time we were replied with how none of her dogs have every had allergies and we were made to feel that his medical problems had to be OUR FAULT. It doesnt matter how many baths, medications, or vet visits we do for him. It never gets better. We've gotten the run around from this lady when all we looked for was guidance. My children help calm and relax him because when you watch him you can truly see how miserable he is. In my opinion Tanya you are a joke and what is wrong with breeders. We will continue to spend every day and every dollar trying to get this sweet baby the piece he deserves.

Took our 20 yo cat in for an exam. First, they made excuses about accepting the "First Exam Free"…read morecoupon. At first we were happy with the care, mostly due to the nice young vet tech, Damien. The Vet discovered a cardiac problem which we complete unaware of and had never been diagnosed. We took Mango in to address an issue with lack of appetite and were prescribed some pills which are now working. We were given the list of options for bloodwork - and we passed on 2 of the items - the Silencio injection ($51.00) for her arthritis pain and the cardiac blood workup - ($87.00). A week later after we were sure the appetite booster was working (yay) we went back for the Silencio and the cardiac blood workup...guess what? The Silencio was $130 - and they added a vet tech exam - which we were NOT told about - and the blood work up was..wait for it..$225.00! As you can surmise - we will NOT be going back. I left an outraged VM as soon as my hubby returned with Mango. Their explanation of why the prices had changed - you have to make the decision during that exam to have all the work done right them, which is absurd as in all fairness to the pet parent - some of these procedures need to be discussed with your partner and decided in a rational manner - not be put under pressure to "do this right now, or else" - which of course was NOT disclosed to us when we made the decision to hold off. Vet care is expensive enough even with ethical practices - but when you come across unethical behavior in a practice - it just gives veterinarians a bad rap. Shame on you VetCo! Is this how you treat returning patients?

I believe they were remodeling the clinic and had cubicle walls in the center of the store set up as an alternative and I was terrified my cat would leap over the walls and run away or something. They gave her the vaccines so quick I doubt she even felt it and even did a quick exam. Somehow, they got her back into the carrier without a struggle and before I knew what happened, we were saying goodbye and paying the cashier. I would absolutely recommend this Vetco location to any cat parent needing vaccines!
