Good nachos

What a relaxing spot by the beach! I can hang out here for hours. Thank you Taneisha for taking care of us!!!

This was located right outside the Hilton in a covered patio setting with a live Saxophone show. You could hear beach waves from the dining area and also grab drinks from outside bar. Food was delish service was great and ambience was in point!

Excellent MaiTai. Michael was a great bartender. The bar snacks were very good, but I wouldn't eat lunch or dinner here. The plates around me didn't look like they were worth the calories . Tiki bars are a dime a dozen in Florida. Most, frankly, should be cursed by the tiki gods and wiped away by Moni-Moni, the volcano goddess angered by greed and poor hospitality. Longboards is the rare exception to the rule. It's a big place, serving both a hotel beach and the public. Some of the tiki intimacy is lost by the big cattle-call menus slapped into the tiki ceiling area. Paradise also lacks a bazillion sports TVs. Outdoors, it's cooler than outside, but not by much. Summer can be hot. Longboards is an impression of the beach lifestyle. Not an actual one. As Joe Isuzu, the deceptive car salesman parody guy would say: Panu mele keke bobo...

Longboards is located at Hilton Cocoa Beach Hotel. We happened to be staying at the hotel. It is well themed with a tropical feel. There are plenty of tables. You can even eat at their smaller bar area near the entrance to the beach. This particular restaurant does not have a view. On weekends there is live music which was fun. The menu is short and sweet. Considering it is inside a hotel, I thought their prices were very reasonable. Most items were served on a metal tray, and the portions were big. My friend and I shared the nachos. I liked it but would've liked more salsa and crema. Some of the chips were hard. I got the Mahi Mahi tacos. I enjoyed the taco except it was just one piece in the middle. I would've liked a bigger piece of fish. The kettle chips were excellent. My friend got the crab cake sandwich and she enjoyed it. It was thick and crispy. Overall, we were very happy with what we got.

This is the Hiltons outdoor restaurant & it's a very big tiki with plenty of bar seating & a lot of table seating. We had 2 amazing frozen drinks, I had a chicken Caesar salad & hub had a turkey club, both were very good! The tiki grille has an entrance that goes out right to Cocoa Beach. We will be back for sure!

Peel and eat shrimp

Always amazing! Had to come back a year later for more peel and eat shrimp :) The Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos were also phenomenal. Although, I do believe they could have used maybe just a little more spice.

I arrived 4 min before the kitchen closed. They were super friendly and took my order. I got the bananas foster frozn drink based on a Yelp review. It did not disappoint. I ordered the coconut shrimp app and a mahi mahi sandwich with a side Caesar salad fit my main. The fish was dry. The salad was ok but not cold. The coconut shrimp was good! Crunchy! Loved the vibe here. The crowd is friendly. Met co-workers here a few times. Staff is super friendly. They let me (and a co-worker) work on my computer during the day even though I was only drinking water.

Mega huge soft pretzel-bigger than my face

Husband and I came here just after 9 pm after a late check-in at the Hilton. It is also open to the public with an entrance to the side where you can bypass the front desk and just go directly to the outdoor seating. Food service ends at 10 pm on Friday's and Saturday's and drink service ends at midnight. We had relatively fast service-ordered the soft Bavarian pretzel and the chicken wings which come in 8-we got the hot and honey which were tasty! The beach breeze was soothing and it was the perfect beginning of our vacation.

Poke Bowl to Go ($19)

I thought the food here was so delicious! It's on the pricey side but given - it's a hotel restaurant and I do feel like the quality reflects it. I tried the coconut shrimp appetizer ($11), poke bowl ($19), and Emerald Salad with Mahi Mahi added ($12 + $10). Everything was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully packaged. The location and ambience are relaxing and beautiful. The staff is also absolutely amazing :) I'm not sure who works at the bar but he is so funny and friendly.

Shite, stopped in to visit family on vacation here. Ordered some food at the Tiki bar not one of us finished, it was awful. My advice eat elsewhere....

Crab cake burger

Great vibes for a hotel restaurant/bar. Even better service. Plenty of tables though we opted for the bar for a drink. Really loved their crab cake burger - was super tasty, fresh and flavorful.

After a couple hours laying on the beach I was starving and immediately thought of it again. So glad I went back. It's really close to Cocoa Beach and sits in such a cute little beach town area. Ambiance: 8/10 Super cute spot with a great tiki beach vibe. There's a big bar in the center with seating all around it, plus plenty of tables off to the side. I lucked out and grabbed a seat at the bar which was perfect after being out in the sun. High top chairs, chill energy, exactly what I was in the mood for. Service: 8/10 The girls behind the bar were great. I have some annoying allergies that tend to be in everything, and my food came out without the modifications at first. I hate sending food back, but had to on this one. They were really nice and apologetic about it though, which I appreciated. Super friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which is honestly my favorite. Food: 9/10 I got the brisket nachos without pickled onions or jalapenos and also tried the happy hour chicken bites. Both were so good. The brisket was chef's kiss. The chicken bites had that perfect light crunch on the outside and were still juicy inside. Honestly fire. If you're in the area I definitely recommend checking this place out. My only regret is not grabbing some of their merch before I left.

The atmosphere is awesome, which is why I am even giving it 2 stars. There are outdoor games and sometimes live music. Now that we got the only positives out of the way, let's move on. The food is horrible. No way around it. We had a party of 9, which I realize is a lot, but we have been going out to eat all weekend with that amount and never had an issue. 4 of us had to send our Mahi back because it was overcooked. Dry and literally hard. Two had ordered Mahi tacos and the other two ordered what they are supposed to be known for, the Mahi Mahi entrée. We chatted with our server about it and she said she was going to send over the manager. The manger arrived, asked what was wrong and we told her. No apologies, no nothing. She just said, well do you want us to make you all something else. We obviously said yes and ordered other items. Everyone else was eating while the 4 of us waited for our new food items... well everyone except 1 person in our party. He has still not received what he ordered to begin with. When we asked our server her response was, "I know, it's coming." Then a few minutes later she came over asking what it was he ordered. His ended up coming out with the other 4 people's remade meals. Those meals weren't as badly overcooked but they also just weren't good. Shrimp tacos were flavorless, chicken tacos overcooked... etc. The price and the taste just don't add up for me. That and the fact that the manager never once apologized to us for the issues or anything. Needless to say, this is a place you go to have a few drinks and that's it.

Sauces were off the chart delicious. - Ricotta toast: insanely thick and fluffy perfect pieces of bread topped with dollops of whipped ricotta and chili crisp. Crunchy, smooth, and a bit of spice. The appetizer I didn't know I needed in my life. 5 stars - Shrimp cocktail: probably the best I've had. 5 humongous shrimp perfectly cooked and chilled. Served with a Thai peanut satay sauce that was delectable. Didn't envision this combo and it worked so well. 5 stars - Lamp chips: 3 nice pieces my husband and friend enjoyed. 4.5 stars - Miso cod: solid version marinated as expected with 2 pieces plus bok choy. 4.5 stars - Umami fries: large plate of perfectly crispy curly fries with Japanese spices on top. 4 stars - Mozzarella sticks: long rectangles covered in a panko potato mix. Crunchy and gooey. Paired with ranch and guachong sauce. 4 stars - Artichokes: 3 large lightly fried pieces which looked like chicken wings. Could've been sliced into smaller bites. 3.75 stars - Dining room: modern bougie vibe. Long bar across the length of the restaurant with a few higher tables of in back (shaped like elongated guitar picks) and a banquettes. A living wall ceiling and artsy wooden touches. Midlights - Flank steak: large slices with not too much flavor. Most unremarkable item we had. 3 stars - Water service: need bigger glasses or for them to leave a carafe on the tables as they didn't come by to refill often enough. Being in a tropical location, hydration is important. - Drinks: cocktails sounded fancy but were just ok. Even their version of a smoked old fashion was lacking in the smoke reveal. Wine was also just ok - Waiter kept on calling us sir and ma'am making us feel old and bit uncomfortable Lowlights - Out of few things. their sole bakery item dessert in a brownie I was excited about and 2 out of 7 glasses of red wines
