This company's conduct following my accident was not just unprofessional, it was predatory and…read morefrankly criminal. Avoid this service at all costs. My vehicle was involved in an accident and deemed undrivable. This company was called by the police to clear the car from the road. The driver's behavior immediately escalated an already stressful situation. Extortion and Refusal of Service: The driver was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I directed him to the mechanic I wanted the vehicle towed to, he outright refused to move it unless I paid $200 cash immediately. After just being in an accident, I did not have that kind of cash on hand. Because I couldn't meet his extortionate demand, they unilaterally towed the car to their private storage lot instead. Astronomical Fees: The next morning, when we contacted them to arrange pickup, the bill to release the car from their lot was suddenly OVER $700. This is an astronomical, non-consensual storage fee that serves only to hold accident victims hostage. We had to involve our insurance company just to force the release of the vehicle. Theft: There was $80 in the center console that upon pick up was no longer there. While there is no way to prove that this occurred while in their possession as it was also towed off their lot by my insurance company... This company clearly employs drivers and staff who have no ethical standards. They prey on people in vulnerable, post-accident situations. Their drivers are rude, and their fees are excessive. They should have their license revoked.

Greenwich towing showed up promptly and towed the car for necessary repairs in Port Hester. As I don't normally write reviews for towing companies, I am writing this for one main reason. When your in a tight spot and your charged a reasonable rate, it's cause for celebration. I found the service excellent and the company very easy to deal with.

I've never had to get my own car serviced and repaired before so I wanted to know that I was in good hands. I went on facebook and asked the harbor point group what people recommended for auto repair and the great reviews of scottys caught my eye. I called up scottys and they let me know they were booked for the next 2 days (it was the first) but they said to drop it off and that they would do their best to look at it beforehand. sure enough I got a call the next day with a breakdown of what needed to be done. They gave me an estimate which was HALF WHAT THE JEEP DEALER QUOTED US, plus it didnt include some of the nonsensical stuff they suggested to fix that scottys said did not need to be done. ultimately they were able to get everything done before we headed out for vacation. when I went to go pick it up, they had admitted there was a communication error and that it wasnt ready just yet and that it would be another hour or so. I mentioned that I had just took an uber and had a lot of other things to try to work on and to see if they could try to give me an accurate time estimate. the guy there (isaac i think) just handed me a set of keys and said heres a loaner ill call you! that alone made this a 6 star experience! talk about admitting to a mistake and making up for it with phenomenal service. anywho, i know where ill be getting my oil changed moving forward! thank you guys!
