The owner, Mark Castle, was extremely pleasant and helpful in picking out the right cigars for my friend. I was traveling back to southern VA when my car broke down. Stayed the night at a nearby hotel. I was looking for a cigar lounge within walking distance and found Long Ridge Cigars. The didn't have what I was looking for but they had a great selection to choose from! I picked up a few cigars and enjoyed them back at the hotel as they were near closing. The lounge looked comfortable and they even had non alcoholic drinks available. Friendly staff, professional. Next time I'm traveling through Winchester I'll be sure to stop in and stay! read more

Absolutely fabulous! We stopped by today and met with Tom. Tom was very knowledgeable and very helpful in finding a new cigar to try. Great, great customer service and wonderful place to visit, shop and enjoy a cigar. They offer 10% off to military and first responders, which is a great gesture. I've been here 2x now. The place is fairly new and they are very attentive. If you are a novice or expert in cigar smoking it's definelty worth checking out. They also give military/LE discounts. They have a nice lounge where you can light up your cigar if you so choose. The only drawback to the lounge is that there is no liquor license agreement yet so you cannot bring boose inside:( Overall, they are working on that issue and it's a great place to relax a bit and enjoy a stick while in Winchester. read more

Long Ridge Cigars is a great cigar shop in Winchester. I have been to both cigar shop's in Winchester, VA and feel that Long Ridge has a more personable environment in where the staff are eager to assist; provide recommendation with regards to what you like or have smoked in the past; and invite you into the lounge to enjoy great conversation as well of course, your cigar. The patrons that I spoke with on my visit were very diverse and especially friendly as well as allowed me to join in on their conversations. I could tell some were military or police just by their presentation which is great as I am a Veteran myself. Pros: Great Atmosphere - Friendly Staff - Clean Shop - Bathroom - Abundant Lounge Space - LE/Fire/Military Discount (10%) - Posted Events - Outdoor Smoking Space - Big Walk in Humidor - Very well stocked with a huge diversity in cigars. Cons: Parking seems to be limited - Website is not the best; however Facebook Page was informative. I went with a coworker after work today and was very pleasantly surprised. This place has it all: ambiance, selection, walk-in humidor, and every accessory you can imagine! One of the co-owners, John, was there to welcome us and was very knowledgeable. He offered suggestions and answered our questions in a way that made us feel comfortable and he seemed to genuinely enjoy interacting with us and the other customers in the store who were sitting in the oversized lounge chairs. After paying for our selections, we sat at the long table and lit up the Merlions. We decided immediately that this would be our regular after work cigar hangout. We will definitely be back to visit. Had the pleasure of stopping in here and talking to Mark on a snowy morning. He directly asked me what I was looking for in a very welcoming environment.
