Here's a fun fact they told me that stuck: Irish whiskey owes its start to monks who brought perfume distilling techniques from the S Europe back to Ireland. It's wild to think that a tradition like that started so far away and turned into something so distinctly Irish. The pub itself has such a great personality--welcoming, and full of life. We started with the Thai Fried Shrimp and Crab Rangoon Dip. Both were excellent. For dinner, I had the KY Fried Shrimp and Grits and my friend had the One Pound Wagyu Burger. We both enjoyed our food and both were way more than one person can eat. I also tried their Wagner's Smoked Old Fashioned. What a great presentation. It comes out in a box filled with smoke and the drink.
