I couldn't enjoy anything. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't think. All I felt was the endless pain all over my body. I asked my friends on Facebook if they knew of any amazing acupuncturists. A few of them mentioned Dr. Zhao. So I called, made an appointment for that same week. At our first appointment I explained what had happened and how I was feeling. Dr. Zhao was very thorough and extremely knowledgeable. I was there for an hour and felt confident she would get me back to my old self again. I went back a few days later. I was feeling slightly better as these things take time. I had my second appointment and started feeling less depressed and sad and in less pain. I continued to go every week and got better and better with each visit. Dr. Zhao has a wonderful personality. She is sweet, kind and VERY caring. I look forward to and very much enjoy going to see her every week!!! My pain went from a 10 to a 0. I sleep much better. I don't feel sad and depressed from pain. I sometimes sleep weird and get a stiff neck but Dr. Zhao ALWAYS makes it better. Dr. Zhao also taught me about staying away from gluten as it inflames your muscles. She also told me about some supplements to take. I highly recommend Dr. Zhao as she is super talented, smart, knowledgeable and sweet! :) I hope you find this helpful and next time you're looking for an acupuncturist I hope you choose Dr. Zhao.

I just had an acupuncture treatment with Jonathan for the first time earlier this week and what an…read moreincredible experience that was. From the moment I stepped foot in the door, Jonathan listened intently as he asked questions that really dug deep into my physical and mental health. He has a super bedside manner which effortlessly lowered my guard almost all the way. I didn't realize how incredibly exhausted, stressed and guarded I've been lately, both mentally and physically. The years have indeed caught up and during the acupuncture treatment, I was feeling emotions and thoughts that I didn't even know I still held on to. He had music playing in the treatment room that really pulls you in. It has such primordial sound to it that it seemed to deeply reasonable with my soul and inner being. At some points, while laying down, it felt like I was having a psychotherapy session with my inner self being the guide. During a few moments, it got so intense that I was about to call it quits, however I focused on my breath, accept the present moment and the emotions that surfaced. From there, I was able to relax even deeper. While I'm not squeamish with needles, I certainly don't like them. Jonathan has a great touch and threaded the needles so smoothly then I barely sense them when they entered the skin. I say barely as of course, your most sensitivity and troublesome body parts will feel it a bit than other areas.. naturally. After the acupuncture portion ended, Jonathan gave me a very relaxing and much needed back massage. After he left the room, I listened to my body and deep some deep self stretching for another 5 minutes. I will certainly be making this a part of my overall regime as I embark on a journey of self-discipline, physical realignment and spiritual discovery.

Thank you, Jonathan.

Earlier this year, my health check revealed nodules in several areas. Traditional wisdom suggests…read morethis often stems from poor qi and blood circulation. A friend recommended Dr. Zhang for acupuncture, and since this was my very first time trying it, I decided to give it a chance. The clinic environment is wonderfully clean and comforting. After a brief chat, Dr. Zhang immediately sensed my frequent anxiety. She was incredibly gentle and reminded me that I need to protect my own energy before I can take care of others. Sitting with her, I felt so safe and relaxed that I couldn't help but burst into tears--which ended up being such a necessary emotional release. The treatment itself was completely painless! I honestly couldn't feel the needles at all. I stayed for a 30-minute session, and by the time I got home that evening, my period had started--a clear sign that my body's qi and blood circulation were activated. That night, I slept soundly all the way through until morning, and I woke up the next day feeling full of energy and vitality. I'll definitely be continuing my treatment here for the next two months and am really looking forward to more good news. Highly recommended!
