This location offers so many different services; Full Body & Local Cryotherapy, Cryoskin Facials, Floatation [Bellmore location], Infared Sauna, Lipo-Light Body Contouring, Acupuncture and more. Went to this Hewlett location to personally finally try a full body Cryotherapy experience. What is Cryotherapy you might ask?? It's a process of cooling your skin to about 32 degrees Fahrenheit for a short period of time. The body temporarily goes into a "survival mode" sending blood to your body's core. This triggers adrenaline, endorphins and all sorts of hormones throughout your body in the hopes of natural healing. It was a super fast 3 minute experience to endure a very manageable dry cold sensation to reset, restore for a rejuvenating feeling. The quad tightness I went in with from multiple Pilates and Yoga sessions this past week, and didn't fully restretch out :/ definitely seemed not as noticeable later that day, and non existent next morning. So did it achieve something already...seems so! :) Glad I opted to buy [via Groupon] a multi session 3x pkg, so that I can truly see if Cryotherapy is something to add self care regime. I used to go to Cryocure in Bellmore. I received a $500 gift card for my bday and shortly after I received the gift this location shut down. No one reached out via email or phone to let me know. Not even a sign on the door telling people to use their Hewlett location. I had no idea they even had another location until I googled Cryotherapy today. I called up and spoke with Ingrid. I explained I was a client at Bellmore and about 2-1/2 years ago I received a certificate that I couldn't use because that location closed shortly after I received the certificate. I asked her if she would honor it. I was told no because they have a different computer system and it's the same owner but different computers. And this and that and the suns in my eyes. So basically this business stole $500 and will NOT honor any part of my certificate. That's bad business especially knowing you're going out of business and still issuing gift certificates. read more
