Just came back from my " tune up" A 30 min massage with Rachael who is strong and wonderful. And 30 min Accupuncture with ( I can't remember his name ) just ask who is Accupuncture person that's there on Thursday. They are ALL great. He is gentle and calming. No it doesn't hurt ! First you feel like you are entering an oasis it's beautiful and calming. With live flowers growing on the walls it's also part p/t and upstairs is pain management. Back to my tune up I had carpel tunnel that was wrecking havoc on my hand overworking. A few needles some heat and then massage by Accupuncture guy then Rachael. I recommend Hudson Wellness period! From CBD oils to a full body menu of pleasantries for the burnt out, I highly recommend massage, Accupuncture or I would never be typing this. Came back and slept like a baby. I didn't have the greatest experience here. First impression--beautiful facility, complete with a foliage wall and open space. I came for a running injury that Dr. Google suggested was IT band syndrome based on symptoms, but I needed confirmation. The sports medicine specialist I saw was charismatic and friendly but didn't seem very knowledgeable on what seems to be a common injury esp given my running history. I described my classic outer knee pain shooting down the IT band and told him I'd increased my running mileage dramatically over a week, but he exclaimed " I've never seen anything like this before! ". The MRI later confirmed that it was IT band syndrome. Follow up was kind of a goose chase as he'd recently taken vacation and informed me that he hadn't phoned with my results twice when promised because he didn't feel well after his long flight and because his apartment flooded. Later while half-way through discussing results over the phone, I guess he realized which patient I was and audibly said " Oh, now I know who I'm speaking with. Sorry, I have a lot of MRIs ". The saving grace was he did refer me to an excellent physical therapy site, so all was not in vain. read more

Holy cow. I've been dealing with 4 weeks of severe lethargy and fatigue. After running blood tests and deciding that my chronic fatigue syndrome was rearing it's ugly head, my doctor's recommendation was "rest and fluids" (wtf). Out of desperation and a suggestion from a friend, I reached out to Dr. Kuo to ask if he thought an IV infusion would be helpful. His office made me a same-day appt and treated me with a customized IV cocktail of vitamins and NAD. The infusion took about 40 minutes. I left feeling a little better (probably needed hydration in general) but woke up the next day and actually had the energy to do a proper HIIT workout which I haven't been able to do in weeks. Total gamechanger. I highly highly recommend the NAD infusion. Photo attached shows what my recovery has looked like over the past week (based on my Whoop fitness tracker). Friday afternoon was the infusion. My overnight recovery shot up remarkably and the only thing that changed was getting the infusion. My mind is blown! Thank you Dr. Kuo! read more

I got an epidural injection and received gabapentin. I have a lot of relief. I know its not permanent relief but I slept very well last night! I am very happy. I can work out. Terrible facilities, no changing rooms, no lockers. If you are looking to change clothes, the only place they offer is a very dated bathroom without even a bench to seat, good luck changing without stepping directly onto the bathroom floor with you feet/socks. The physical therapy "area" is a very small pass through space. Every person entering the facility will walk directly through the area, in and out, all the time. Privacy? Hopefully, no one bumps into you as you are stretching. Since they offer no lockers, better keep a watch on your bag they make you leave right at the entrance door. The physical therapists themselves are average at best. They are either underpaid, or simply not passionate about their craft. The exercises they offer are basic and the guidance is poor. You will get more from YouTube videos at home. Seek another place! read more

This place is great! I started coming here for physical therapy for my back and feel very happy with my choice. The staff is knowledgeable and informative, the therapist I've been seeing is Diana Chen. She is a true master of her craft! From stretching, to massage and exercise, Diana has helped me gain my strength back and reduce the back/hip pain I was constantly in. The place itself is very elevated and clean. I just had a really negative interaction with the Hudson Wellness team where I had to reach out proactively asking about prep instructions for an appointment today, and when I felt concerned that I couldn't actually do the prep instructions today -- which had never been shared with me until I reached out -- I got a lot of attitude from the person I was interacting with and pressure to keep the appointment or pay a cancellation charge. I can certainly empathize with the inconvenience of last minute appointment changes and I understand why there are late cancel fees. But that should be if you actually share what someone needs to do for the appointment in advance, proactively. And if the patient is then feeling uncomfortable about the prep and if they've followed it, you shouldn't intimidate or ridicule your customers into keeping the appointment. I've paid the cancellation fee but I certainly won't be recommending this facility to anyone I know in the neighborhood. read more

Had a good experience, nice facility, nice people but leaving 3 stars because the chiropractor facility was not the right size for care. The doctor squeezed me into a room that was too small to walk around a normal sized chiro table - so they put in two tables pushed to each side so she could access both of my sides - very awkward layout. Even so, it seemed like there wasn't enough room to properly do the movements on my back. In such a nice facility it's odd they didn't plan this space properly. read more

I had an excellent experience at Hudson Wellness. I came in for a Dexa Scan, and my technician was wonderful and explained everything clearly. In fact every staff member I encountered was super nice and helpful. I went to the Tribeca location, and it's a beautiful facility and I had zero wait time. I had a follow up call from Preeti, to walk me through the results. Both my girlfriend and I went in for initial CAMP sessions, both of us had incredible experiences. I suffer from chronic back pain as a result of an injury 6 years ago. With very little guidance and background, each specialist was able to identify areas of tension and apply corrective measures immediately. They provided a wealth of knowledge in their respective areas and were remarkably professionally, yet very warm and approachable. The experience was supplemented with a beautifully designed facility, filled with lush greens and floral arrangements. The administrative team also maintained a seamless experience from bookings, processing and coordinating both consultations and prescriptions on the medical side. We intend to make their services a more permanent part of our regular health and wellness routine! read more

Physical Therapy has helped me a great deal with my mild osteoarthritis knee pain. I was treated with non-surgical 'Supartz' injections into knee joints for pain management. The facility is super clean, and the PT team created customized program for me, integrating the 'Paladi' exercise equipment. I was able to rotate scheduling with the 3 regular PT team member's; who are genuinely nice people. It was tough getting flexibility in my knee's to be active and more mobile, due to factor's of being over-weight. I struggled with the exercises starting to easy-gradually-intensive over time. My will power, combined with nutrition, vitamin supplements, and physical therapy exercises made me SUCCESSFULLY FEEL REJUVENATED!!. I feel much more balanced and can walk much more fluidly. It's like I was an injured athlete, that went through recovery; I could have been in crutches!! I am fortunate I found Hudson Spine & Wellness!! read more

I'm shocked at how non typical this place is, its not a Physical Therapy / Chiro / Acupuncture / Massage Therapy place... its a spa meets private doctor's office! Not only is it nice, clean, and calm - but also the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I go to Hudson for my lower back pain and my PT is Kristian Marcial. He is great, takes the time to listen to how my back is feeling so he can tailor the session to what I can handle - and push me when necessary; he took the time to evaluate me properly with medical terms and notes, sent me a take home regiment so that I could keep up what I accomplished in office. Where to begin with this place?? Incredible caring knowledgeable and professional staff, from the front desk, to the PTs, acupuncturists and chiropractors and even a nutritionist . I REALLY recommend for women who are pregnant or considering pregnancy. I found Hudson wellness after my husband broke his clavicle in three places and DR Jean-Pierre saw him and accompanied him throughout the whole process directing him to an excellent surgeon and then through recovery. My husband loved his treatment so much that Jean-Pierre is now his primary care physician. I wound up going to Dr Jean-Pierre myself to address a years long hip injury. He does such a great job not just through the diagnosis process but also in explaining to you carefully everything and answering all your questions with patience. He then set up a treatment plan for me called CAMP, which involved acupuncture, massage and physical therapy (and some minimal chiropractic that wasn't about cracking my back a million times and I appreciate that). I've consistently felt the the acupuncturist and chiropractor who work together are attentive and willing to also address any other issues that come up in the week. The physical therapy at this facility is just hands down the best experience I've ever had with PT. Never have I gotten such results, felt my entire body transform back into shape and been able to translate the work we do into my gym routine. I understand my body better and feel stronger than I have in a long time. After addressing my hip injury I also got pregnant and have basically been seeing the pre natal PT since before pregnancy, all throughout and now post partum. While I think all the PTs are great, I've worked consistently with Monica and I just can't say enough how knowledgeable, smart and caring she is. My pregnancy went so well, not to mention my labor !! I had a natural birth and being super fit was clutch. Finally, I also got gestational diabetes during pregnancy. The cardio program Monica suggested and the recommendations of the nutritionist spared me from needing insulin and any sort of interventions during labor. I have been seeing Dr. Wan for almost a month and cannot sing her praises enough. I have spent most of my life working with Chiropractors and she is easily the best one I've ever worked with. She was able to provide a lot of insight on how my hormonal imbalances impact in pain and inflammation in my body and even set me up with the nutritionist in their office to help me get to the root of my inflammation. Bruce is the best acupuncturist, Dr. Wan gets me into perfect alignment, and of course the massage therapists are consistently wonderful. My physical therapist, Jenny, is the BEST! I've had my fair share of PT's in the past, but she is by far the most effective, compassionate, and knowledgeable one I've experienced. I'm having a terrible experience with them. My doctor left abruptly without telling me and they agreed to continue with me, renewing the medication she had prescribed. I met with Dr. LaSalle who told me that this was not the place for me, but said that he would fill the prescription until I found a new doctor. Instead, he apparently ordered twice as much medication than my insurance allowed for, but didn't tell me that, only that theyhad denied the request. It's been two weeks now and he can't be bothered to order a month's worth and they have treated me with complete disregard and rudeness, This is not a medication you can just go off; it requires tapering, and doing so has made me very ill, but they don't care at all. They can't be bothered. This place is about money making, nothing else. read more

I've had lower-back and hamstring issues for about a year. I went to Hudson Spine for x-rays and didn't hear back, but they suggested physical therapy at Hudson Wellness. I was assigned Diana Chen and she's been great. I've been going twice a week for a few months now and my back is feeling much better. Diana was extremely helpful. She knew exactly what was wrong and how to work on fixing it. She gave me a quick physical test to determine the areas of pain and then we got right to work in the first session. Honestly, horrible customer service. I booked an appointment online and went in for my confirmed massage therapy session the next morning. However when I got there, they informed me that their online schedule does not correlate with their actual availability and I will be unable to get my massage. I was shocked at their lack of communication and unwillingness to accommodate me even though I have a confirmation statement. In this day in age, online scheduling should not be an issue for a company like this. Hudson Wellness should figure out their technical difficulties or they will lose customers. read more

I started going to PT for migraines from muscle tension in my neck and shoulders. Hudson Wellness, and specifically Nathan, worked wonders for me! He is professional, knowledgeable, and pushed me to my full potential, all while not straying out of my comfort zone. And the equipment is top notch! This place feels more like an amateur show where people fresh out of PT training go to get their feet wet. I have had shoulder/neck pain for 10+ years and have been to some of the best physicians and specialist and thought I would give this place a try. When I went for my first appointment, the receptionist handed me stack of medical forms that no one will ever read. I told the receptionist that completing the forms aggravates my shoulder and causes pain. She said rudely said EVERYONE has to complete all of the forms regardless. I brought my concern to the "doctor" (Grover) and he then stated, without concern for the patient, that EVERYONE has to complete all of the forms. There was no one there to offer assistance for completing the forms either. Needless to say, I left Hudson Wellness immediately after this nonsense. There are plenty of other shamans in NYC. read more
