Our cocktails were a lot of fun. I discovered here the Don Papa rum, which is from my home country of the Philippines, where I didn't even know they made rum. It was sweet and smooth; I wish I could remember which house cocktail I had them sub it in for. I do think the dal makhani could have done with several more hours of simmering, but most restaurants do a quick cook on this favorite lentil dish of mine. Like a lot of Munich, Madam Chutney is dog-friendly. My friend's 70-pound dog, Lola, made us a whole table of friends! I was stunned the wait staff was tolerant of it.

The thali we ordered was delicious and I enjoyed all of the curries and condiments on it. My colleague also really enjoyed the meal. The service was friendly and the naan was freshly made and tasted great. Happily come here again. The waiter was very friendly and quick and the kitchen was also very quick to get our meals out at lunch time.
