I know staffing in general in these times is still a challenge and staffing appropriately when it's off season is even more of a challenge. You just never know if it's going to be feast or famine as an operator and labor cost does matter. With that being said I witnessed a young woman running her booty off this past Sunday night. She was the bartender and server for the entire place. There was a very nice young man who perhaps was the dish washer helping to greet, run food, and I'm sure do many behind the scenes jobs in the back of house. Overall they were banging it out and staying focused even though the universe put them a bit in the weeds. But food was coming out at a steady pace and she was the embodiment of full hand in full hands out. We had a reservation and arrived early to relax and chat at the bar. The bar is nice, clean, and vibrant. As was the rest of the restaurant. I really appreciated that there were linen table cloths on the tables. I'm allergic to many sanitizers so table tops can make me break out. There was a nice fireplace going as well. The food was delicious. Our party had the salmon ( lovely crust), bone in ribeye (excellent flame licked char), and deep fried shrimp ( nice crispy thin breading). The green beans were limp and bland, but we weren't there for the veggies so.... Who cares. Lol. The fries were excellent and the top of the twice baked was yummy but the skin had too much plain potato still in it for my liking but my husband was all about it. read more

I really wanted to like this "supper club" but I definitely can't say I did! They didn't have a table but because we didn't have a reservation that is to be expected and we had no issue with the wait. Once we were seated at our table is when everything went sideways. We ordered the stuffed mushroom caps. Those took 45 min. Waitress did come back during that time to take our order. We both ordered the lobster dinners. A while later the waitress came to the table and said there was only 1 left, so my Mom changed her's to tenderloin. At LEAST an hour later the food can to the table. My Lobster was VERY over cooked. It was like rubber. My Mom's " tenderloin" was also over cooked. She had a hard time cutting into it. We were one of the first groups on Saturday night and they were out of 3 different entrees. Was with a group of 8. We all agreed food had no flavor. Pasta was over cooked and tasted like glue. Continuously had to ask for water, didn't check on table. Salad bar was good. read more

Sweet and kind staff, hard working. Salad bar was pretty solid. But---the fish was so chewy and rubbery...and don't order the steak. I have no idea how it could be so bad. This place has such potential but it was NOT a great evening for this restaurant. There was a big group of golfers (30 to 40) that were dining this evening. They were not appropriately staffed for this group nor did they order enough food to support this size of group. There was one waitress, one cook, and a bartender running the place from what I could see. Here are the items we tried to order but were sold out: Tenderloin steak, bread basket, Absolut vodka, double baked potatoes, stuffed salmon, and multiple salad mix for the salad bar. The big group wiped them out of food and this was a scheduled group so they should have ordered better. Our waitress was doing her best but she seemed really hungover - she said was out late "tubing" but I think it was "tubing" and "booze" lol. She apologized every time something was sold out but the service was horrible. Food took forever and was okay - nothing spectacular. Friend ordered Tito's style and we had to ask a few times to finally get that sent out. Food trickled in like a tapas restaurant which is not the point of a supper club. Because the tenderloin was sold out I opted for the prime rib. I had to request more au jus which came out as I was finishing my meal. The biggest issue is that our waitress gave us check for another table which we paid not really looking at it. She realized her mistake and had to reverse the charge and bring out the new bill. Our bill with tip was almost $200 for 3 people for a ho hum meal. If she hadn't figured this out we would have walked away with a smaller bill. We wanted to make sure we paid what we owed which is only appropriate. The people who brought me here were embarrassed by the food and service and unfortunately said they won't be back. If you are looking for a supper club, this is NOT your place. Now, if you just want basic restaurant for some food, this will do just fine. There is NOTHING supper club about this place. The name is so misleading. It is a typical restaurant that is on a golf course. We walked in, and were immediately skeptical. Nothing about the place seemed like a supper club - the space, the food, the ambiance, the service. It just felt like we were grabbing a casual meal after we should have played a round of golf. We got some steaks, and regretted it. Overpriced for the steak that wasn't cooked properly. I would have rather gotten something basic like a burger or sandwich here. Literally every one else at the restaurant were golfers that finished a round. We had to seat ourselves. Again, this isn't a bad thing. But if you're looking for a supper club, stay away. Had dinner here this evening with 2 other ladies. The good: the soup, salad and bread was good. The bad: Two of us ordered the scallops and the other salmon. Scallops came out smelling a little fishy and was room temperature. We ordered melted butter to dip scallops thinking this would help but no such luck. The noodles looked like a bunch of rubber bands cut up. We didn't eat much of our meal so at the end we mentioned that the scallops were not good. Waitress went back to the chef and because we didn't mention it sooner there was nothing he would do for us. When waitress cleared our plates over 75 percent of the food was still on the plate. It's not like we ate all of our food and then complained. So if you can order just the soup and salad I think it's safe to eat there. If not, I don't recommend going there. read more

Party of 5, we ordered steaks and scallops. The food was absolutely tasteless, thank goodness for their salad bar! They are definitely NOT a supper club worthy! The service was great and the atmosphere was great, nice and wide open with very clean bathrooms. Also they serve steaks on a board, I don't think it looks nice or was the cleanest boards They need a chef in there to make this place better, it wasn't busy at all on a Saturday night and now I am sure of why! read more

We had a reservation for our 40th wedding anniversary on on a Sunday night and they would not seat us because they had a big table. I would not recommend this place to go due to their bad service. Don't take a reservation if you can't handle the business it is a long drive to get there. Not worth the bother. Never going there again. So many better places to go. Don't go there!!!!!! read more

Be aware and careful!!! Got my receipt and was overcharged for everything. online prices are wrong as well as there menu prices. Was told they wouldn't honor it because they changed there prices a while ago. Got charged $11.95 for the salad bar with my chicken sandwich, which was suppose to be $3.95 extra. I am so upset that I will not being golfing there anymore over this either, which I loved golfing there. Also, I didn't like the fact they thought I was lying about the prices when I pulled up the menu on my phone. Also, my son thought it was his fault because he order the salad bar. Love this place! From walking in and getting a great greeting from the host to sitting down at the bar with the greeting from the great bartender from getting a warm greeting from our waiter Greg, we are so glad we finally made it out there. We went back to have dinner 4/15/23. Not sure what happened or what person was in charge of the kitchen that night. It was not good, the only thing with my prime rib dinner that was hot was the baked Potatoe. The rest was a little warm and my wife's scallops and pasta was cold. She sent it back and the waiter returned after taking the replacement dish from under the warming light. Which was only warm to cold, and you could tell by the pasta not being creamy but thick. We will go back and try it one more time, and hopefully someone is better is in charge. read more

We visited last week for the first time and were quite pleased. We hesitated to go earlier based on comments that they got very busy with reservations required. However, we went on a Friday night, had a drink at the bar, and had no problem getting a table when we were ready. This was Friday night the week of 4th of July so perhaps it was not as busy as usual. Anyway, I had the walleye and my spouse the Cajun catfish. Both were good, as was the service. My husband and I had a reservation tonight here for my birthday. We were the only two people in the restaurant at 6:30 despite the busy golf course, and no one else came in to eat during the hour that we were there. I ordered medium rare New York Strip Tito Style which I've had and enjoyed here in the past. Tonight they were out of Tito Style (I get it, it happens) and the steak was almost well done and dry. I can eat steak a little overdone but this didn't have any flavor at all and I had to send it back. The new steak was almost raw, our server offered to have them cook it a little more even before I cut into it, and then after they cooked it up it was well done again. My husband's filet was also overdone and the twice baked potatoes were gummy. The server offered to call the manager because she couldn't take the meals off the check on her own and then apparently wasn't able to get ahold of him so only my steak was taken off the check. We ended up paying $60 for two drinks and completely inedible meals. Why ask if the reservation is for a special occasion if you're going to turn out a total bummer of an experience? read more

Had high hopes based on the chef's prior experience. We waited 15 minutes at the bar before we were waited on. I asked for a glass of water twice and still didn't get it. At our table, our server was great. She was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, it doesn't make up for poor food. We ordered the prime rib medium rare. It was beige in color and had zero juice. It was dry and tasteless. My cod was the same. It arrived extremely dry and chewy without any spices or flavoring. The best part of the meal (other than our great server) was the warm rolls. Took another trip to watch the Packers this weekend. Had a difficult time getting tables as it was a Holiday weekend and lots of places were closed on NY Day-Saturday and a Packer home game. We got lucky and got a table at Long Drive Supper Club Friday night and a table at Republic Chophouse Saturday night. This review is for Long Drive Supper Club. This place has recently been opened by the Head Cook of the former Wallys Spot and is located in the Clubhouse of the Brown County Golf Course. We were the first people in the restaurant at opening at 4:00pm and asked for a table later, after having some drinks. Were told that we would have to be seated by 5:00pm as "they were going to get busy".; We heard this several times throughout the night. Sat at the bar and ordered some BOF that were muddled. As they were being made, we were offered a table. "because we are going to be busy". Someone came by every 5 minutes trying to seat us. At 4:30pm I caved in a let them take us to table- because they were going to busy. I also had a drink called Pointsettia which was gin, cranberry and lime. It was good, but more of something I would drink it the summer. As we were seated the waitress asked if we were ready to order as she saw us looking at menus at the bar -because they were going to be busy. They had a nice small salad bar and two soups. French Onion, where the onions were still firm and could have been carmelized more and a Shrimp and Corn Chowder we both had and enjoyed. Both soups appeared to be homemade. Wife had Perch, which she enjoyed and I had Baked Cod, which wasn't a loin but compressed sections of cod pressed together. You can see in the pictures where the sections are put together and it didn't flake as it should. We both had loaded mashed potatoes, and green beans came with the dish. There are pictures of the NY Eve menu and their regular menu. I can't stand to be rushed but that is what we encountered by just about every employee there. Hopefully they have just some small kinks to work out and they will be running smoothly. Will check back in in a few months to see if tey improved. read more

My dad and I decided to try the new "supper club" in town. Of course we picked the coldest night of the year, but it was nice and cozy inside with the fireplace going. Linen tablecloths, cloth napkins, a great salad bar, and good drinks. The steaks were a bit pricey, but they are everywhere you go now. The salad bar had two soups and I thought a pretty good selection of salad additions. I don't know that I would get a steak again there because it was so expensive and there's many other things on the menu that looked great. We will definitely be back!!! read more

Nice to see something come back in since the Safari Steak House left since there aren't many good dining options out on this side of town. Have dined a couple of times. Nice to have the "supper club" quality cocktails available again too. Very good. First time my rare prime rib came out with grill marks on it- when I inquired why, the server did check and the chef felt it was "too rare" - to her credit- offered to replace. Grilling slow roasted prime rib after cutting it not a desirable option. Wife had the catfish po'boy and it was exceptional. 2 weekends ago we went in on Saturday without a reservation and were told we could get a high top in about 15 minutes- there were the thee open along the wall while we sat at the bar for an hour. Finally checked with hostess and got seated on one table that was open for the hour. I'm guessing the kitchen is undersized for the amount of seats. Had the Prime Rib again and it as properly done. Wanted to go last weekend and their FB feed said they were fully booked with reservations. Called on Sunday for this Saturday night- same deal- already fully booked. Glad to see an establishment have success in light of what they experienced by the Covid 19 closures. However, getting a reputation as a "reservation only" place may be a detriment after the newness wears off for all the folks still trying it for the first time. Only the classic establishments can continue to exist with this model. I don't believe there are any in the Green Bay area that are like this. I'd recommend saving a few walk in spots to keep a base coming in the door. read more
