While meeting virtually was the safest option at the time, I did have some hesitation about its efficacy compared to in-person therapy.  Those concerns were alleviated in my first virtual appointment with Kelly, as she made me feel very comfortable. Over 2 years I found Kelly to be a great listener, extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and intuitive. She asked great, thought-provoking questions and provided tools and practices for me to focus on between appointments. Having Kelly as a resource was like talking to a sympathetic, well-informed and non-judgmental friend who doesn't chime in with their own problems.  Scheduling & billing were all easy breezy. Kelly was in-network for my insurer and the copays were very fair. Kelly played a huge role in me being able to successfully navigate challenges presented by life & the pandemic, and I'm really grateful that I found her.

Adam definitely helped me understand that if didn't allow myself to be vulnerable in therapy I wouldn't be able to heal from my past traumas and more importantly he made me feel like a person that mattered. They just simply ask a couple of questions and send you on your way with your Rx refill. I guess that's the way all psychiatrist are, especially if it's not their own practice.

Nobody questioned me as to who I was, or even for permission for myself to be there. ( HIPA ) The doctor spent a stupid amount. Of time explaining how he missed his appointment, which was rescheduled from when she cancelled the week prior ..... had to correct that to can we move on ???? she had increased levels on a drug , I had inquired as to whether or not his levels were at therapy level was a blood test performed. Instead of answering the question she asked the patient did you have your blood checked? She proceeded to give us a prescription crossing out the address of the place, which obviously made the prescription void. So after trying to get the test done, I had to come back to have another prescription rewritten Needless to say it's been three weeks and I still haven't gotten the results back from the blood-work but the patient is still on the meds i.... Smh I really feel bad for people that need help with mental illness .... This place can make you go crazy ...
