Steve answered and was very helpful. I was able to arrange for him to come to me later that day. He arrived at my work at the scheduled time and fixed the chip in about 20 minutes. We had the unfortunate luck of the window on the front of our home cracking after it was hit just…read moreright by a rock kicked up from the lawnmower. We called Glass Doctor after seeing their vehicle in our neighborhood working on a home that just went under contract. The process to receive a quote seemed painless. They sent someone out within a week to measure the window and take photos to ensure they ordered the correct product. I put a deposit down, the window was ordered and they scheduled to come install two weeks later. Upon install the gentleman had difficulty replacing the window, as our plantation shutters were "in the way." While this should have been mentioned at our initial "quote" visit, it wasn't. My husband removed the entire shutter, caulking, nails and all so the gentleman could have better access to the window. Unfortunately at some point a piece of the window lock was broken. He assured us the company would take care of replacement, took photos of the window, took the broken piece with him to "match" the color and went on his way. Weeks went by with no word. Eventually we heard the wrong part had been sent and they were waiting on another one. Another week. Meanwhile, our front shutters were still sitting and waiting to be put back up. Finally they texted that the part had arrived and they would be out to replace it in the next few days. A new gentleman came to replace it. He was just as confused as we were when he pulled out the WHITE replacement for our BEIGE window lock. He assured us the office must have made a mistake, but left us with the white piece so that our window would be functional in the meantime. We contacted the office to let them know about the mixup and we're told "Yeah, white was the only color we could find. I Can have a manager call you if you want." I was disappointed regarding the lack of care taken to make right a situation we had been exceptionally patient and kind regarding. It's been radio silent since. No manager call. I'm guessing we're stuck footing the time, energy and cost to have a product that matches on our high end window as well as have our shutters put back up. I'll consider looking elsewhere in the future for my glass needs.

This store is a keeper as also evidenced by its amazing customer reviews. Jay is the tek lead. He gave me confidence by assuring me I could drive my vehicle safely while awaiting OEM windshied glass to arrive. Today's early morning glass replacement appointment was delayed since I had to rush back to my Audi dealership for them to clear error codes generated by Safelite's sensors (once again not caused by Safelite). Gone are the days of old non-computerized vehicles and we all have to live with error reports be they major or negligible. Safelite's policy to not proceed with any glass replacements if too many error codes r seen by their computer where the dealer needs to clear or resolve the error reports first -- is reassuring. Jose was my tek specialist who did my glass replacement. He is one of the chosen specialists specifically for my make and model due to its idiosyncrasies. Everything after install was reported by Jose as perfect and excellent with the glass replacement and recalibrations. The store itself is truly presentable, clean, and amply supplied with Keurig goodies and a cold water dispenser. This particular Safelite location is highly recommended in my books. Justin was extremely competitive, and assured me that they would have no problems with the AUDI calibration. The tech was available and waiting when I arrived. The admin up from quickly processed my payment and it was taken immediately into the shop. The tech took time to protect both my hood, and the drivers seats before starting any repairs. 20260601 Update. Took my car into Safelight and they (1) replaced my windshield and (2) correctly…read moreinstalled the molding surrounding the windshield; all under warranty. Steve, the tech performing the work, was super nice, attentive, and competent. He explained what he was going to do, so we were on the same page. Then, he checked in with me about halfway through the job to apprise me of the estimated completion. When the work was done, both Steve and another tech came out to show me the work that was performed. I pointed out that the molding was about .5" out of alignment and Steve immediately reseated the molding so it was perfect. Smiles and handshakes all around. When I first posted this review, I had given Safelight a 3-star rating. For today's service, I would give them a 5-star rating. Overall, they earned a 4-star rating. 20260518. Safelight scheduled me to come in for warranty work today, to replace my windshield and the molding along the passenger side of the windscreen. But get this, they didn't have the windshield nor the molding at the shop. Like you, I smacked my forehead at the ineptitude of whomever scheduled me to come in without ensuring the material needed was in the shop. This is the third time I've come to get my windshield fixed. The first time, they replaced the windshield. The second time I came in to tell them the molding along the passenger side of the windshield had flown off while I was driving the car. Also, I showed them the molding along the driver's side was buckling. To prevent it from flying off too, they took it into the shop to reseat it. While doing that work, they cracked my windshield. Safelight scheduled me to come in today to get a new windshield and the passenger side molding, under warranty. But after sitting here for almost an hour, the tech came out to tell me they didn't have the windshield nor the passenger side molding in the shop. I asked if when they do get the windshield and the molding, that they come to my house to do the work. They said they would. I'll edit this post to report what transpires next...stay tuned.
