I can't say enough good things about this place! I was a little bit skeptical reading all the reviews found here, but then realized they were written many years ago! Now is completely different story. First, let me start with customer service. One word- impeccable! Ivana, with who we worked is wonderful! Very polite, kind, negotiable, patient, you can't hear - no, we can't do it, there is- we will find a way! She is extremely helpful. Helped us with suggestions for food, with decoration and with everything! Had patience for us ( because we did everything last minute) and never showed she was bothered (but probably was :-D how unorganized we were). Also, the staff was extremely polite. Whatever you ask they are ok and listen. So- customer service 10/10. Ambience: perfect! We rented the smallest room. It was clean, modern, and nice. Their center pieces, bouquet of white flowers (photo attached). Looks gorgeous! We brought our decoration for photos and everything looks really beautiful. Many interesting details included. Everything on the photos. Third: food! Mmmmm! Food was DELICIOUS! Ivana can give great suggestions! We took chicken kiev, some pork that looks like steak rolled with bacon and beaf in sauce of mushroom (family style). People- it is yumi! All other things we ordered were delicious! I am excited to recommend Lone Tree Manor for absolutely any event! My new husband and I had our wedding here in June 2025 and I was blown away by this venue and the incredible staff and owners. From the tasting prior to our big day, to the reception itself, to all of the little details behind the scenes, Anna and Tomasz are complete pros and have really created something special here. We were able to drop off some items we had made for the reception in advance, and I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived on the day that Anna had even put the cake topper on our wedding cake for us! I had also forgotten to seat our vendors but Anna and Tomasz were quick to save the day and set up some extra tables and chairs to seat everyone. The reception halls are gorgeous, with beautiful chandeliers and a huge dance floor for everyone to showcase their best moves. However, what really sets this venue apart from the rest is the FOOD! Not only was the Lone Tree team able to accommodate our vegetarian, gluten-free, and Halal guests, but everyone's meal was so, so delicious! Our guests keep telling us how tasty the appetizers, main course, desserts, and even the salads were weeks after our wedding! I had my daughter's bridal shower at Lone Tree Manor. The room has been newly renovated. The set-up of the tables and decorations were beautiful. We had a traditional polish menu. Food was delicious. The theme of the shower was "lunch and punch". The vodka fruit punch was really good. One bowl of bunch was enough for a party of 34 women. We also had the mimosa punch which was 2 bottles of champagne and orange juice for the guest to prepare. The table set up for the punch was gorgeous. I came here for a baby's baptismal reception and the banquet area was pretty presentable and the perfect size for the amount of guests that showed up. The caterers weren't too fluent in english and so making requests weren't so easy. The food was okay overall, but I'd have to give them props on their friend chicken and mashed potatoes! Very disappointed with the lack of courtesy and professionalism by Anna W. We submitted an inquiry for our wedding reception and got a response from her indicating there was a minimum requirement, and she invited us to stop in as they offered various packages. We did stop in and we liked the venue. I sent 2 follow up emails advising that we were interested and though we fall short of the minimum, we were more than willing to add on services/amenities to make up for that difference. I asked if they could work with us. No response. I also called the hall, was told Anna was with a client. I asked if someone else could help me and was told no. I left a message and was promised a call back; never got one. It literally takes 2 minutes to give a quick call back or send a simple email letting us know you can't accommodate. These are important events in peoples' lives and wedding planning is time sensitive. You don't just blow people off like that. So very discourteous and unprofessional. read more

I feel the need to write a review about Lone Tree Manor as my experience with them was nothing like any of the reviews on here. I had my wedding reception held here last summer in June (2013). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful from start to finish. The food was just as I requested (no mix ups of any sort) and it all tasted delicious. All of the silverware was clean and we definitely did not have any fruit flies anywhere. I had no complaints and was really happy with how everything turned out. UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT-AWESOME now. Just hosted my daughters communion. Everyone was very happy. Under new management: new menu, remodeled, wonderful customer service. Will upload pictures once available from photographer. Large menu selection of great quality Polish food, but also accommodating and palatable to other cultures (our functions are Polish & America/Italian). Beautiful silver wooden chairs and various table decor included in pricing. Clean. Very friendly owner and staff. Event progressed smoothly and efficiently (no waiting for dinner or courses). We had our bridal shower and catered a few times. We also just catered food for Easter --which was amazing! Everyone complimented the food, and asked where we ordered the food from. I've been recently to White Eagle--and it sucked. I'm glad this place has not dropped the ball with switching owners. And by the way, I just met the owner, and he was very kind, welcoming, and very helpful. He even helped load my car up in his suit, after picking the food up. Not sure what is up with all the bad reviews?? Because I find it very hard to believe in them. Take it from a person who knew the previous owners ( from catering all the time) and now the new owner (from catering as well). I will continue to come back to this place, and order more food. The place is very clean looking, I actually loved the updates they did (especially in the entrance). Using a fog machine on a party to enhance my lights and laser effect at the beginning of a party, when this female manager came storm raging with a loud voice in front of everybody, that I cant use fog machine for some reason.,well most fog are water base in will not cause to trigger alarm., floor is made of wood then apply a protectant to the wood floors., bottomline the female manager is , will humiliate you in front of your crowd, will not come to DJ in this place no more, incident took place 7/5/2019 ,dinner party. read more

New owners Anna and Tom are a fantastic couple that worked with us every step of the way. They gave us multiple options for decoration, food, alcohol and even recommend other vendors as needed. We had an approximately 300 person Polish/Irish/American Wedding. We all fit in very comfortably within the space. The dance floor is one of the biggest I've ever seen and they had plenty of room for our DJ, five person band, photo booth, sweet table, deli hut and midnight food table. All of our guests raved about the delicious food and the amount of it. Dinner service only took about an hour and was served family style. When people asked for anything extra the wait staff was more than happy to take care of all of their needs and wants. Thank you for a fantastic wedding reception!!! This place had the worse Polish food I've ever tasted. Another person mentioned Jolly Inn and White Eagle and I agree they are the best. Lone Tree Manor is cheaper per person than White Eagle but the service was pretty bad. First of all we waited a long time to be served. It was a Sunday Lunch Birthday Celebration and everyone was starving. When they did bring out the food they rushed us and didn't bring us more food unless we asked for it. One person came late and I did think it was nice they brought her food but they also rushed her. They brought out the ice cream before they cut the cake so the Ice cream was pretty soft by the time they served it with the cake. The lady that runs the place seems very nice. I had an exceptional experience hosting my son's first birthday party at Lone Tree Manor. This is a first class banquet hall and the staff here goes above and beyond all expectations to provide a 5 star experience. I signed up on Yelp specifically to create this review and tell you all the story of my amazing experience at Lone Tree. I was looking for a place to host my event and after many disappointing visits to other venues, I decided to check out Lone Tree. I did not have an appointment, but from the moment I walked in, Halina welcomed me with a smile and the warmest, kindest demeanor I have ever experienced being a customer at a business. She listened to all my needs, and took detailed notes. She then proceeded to tell me about their party packages and the decorations and arrangements they could create for my party. I was stunned with how much effort Halina put into helping me make my event be exactly as I envisioned. I returned to Lone Manor a couple of weeks later to finalize the plans for my event. Halina once again greeted me with the same wonderful demeanor as the first time I met her. On the day of my event (which was scheduled for the late afternoon), I stopped at Lone Tree in the morning, and found a large staff of people cleaning and preparing our banquet hall. I looked on as they made the space look absolutely stunning with beautiful decorations, perfect linens, and the most perfect bows on each of their beautiful silver chairs. The banquet hall looked even more beautiful than I could have ever envisioned. I was in tears! At the actual party that afternoon, the service and the food were exceptional, and the two ladies who were our servers were extremely courteous and professional. Our guests were delighted with the beauty of the banquet hall, the beautiful linens and décor, the amazing food and most of all, the exceptional service. Still P.O'd at these people. We recently hosted a luncheon here after my dad's funeral; it was one of the places suggested by the funeral home. The food was fine, but the service was awful. When you walk in, you see separate rooms - one on the right labeled "Restaurant". We assumed we were in the other, the banquet hall. There is no hostess stand. There is no one at all to greet you. So we stood and waited. And waited. No one came. With 14 hungry people in our party, I sent my husband to get someone so we could be seated. Alas, this set the tone for the entire lunch. Waited a long time before they began bringing food out (again my husband had to hunt someone down). When they did, we put in our drink orders (there was a carafe of wine on the table, and water); it took awhile before soft drinks and my daughter's milk arrived. I had no real issue with the quality of the food; the smoked sausages were especially tasty. But at the end, we had a fair amount of food leftover; there was an untouched plate of roast chicken at my table. You pay for lunch by the person; we paid for 14 people ($11.95/each). But when we asked if we could have some of the food boxed up for us, we were told no - not unless we paid for five more people. So you won't let us have the food THAT WE PAID FOR, unless we pay you another $60? My husband said no and off the food went - to the garbage, or perhaps for a busboy to take home. I don't know what makes me madder: that perfectly good food (OUR food) went to waste, or their attempt at extortion. It is appalling. The set-up of the room also became an issue for us. The banquet hall is separated into two by a dance floor. Another funeral luncheon occupied the full section on the other side from us. It wasn't a problem until people in the other party decided to get up and give toasts and tell stories about the deceased. As we were within earshot of them, we felt uncomfortable keeping up our normal volume of conversation. Basically we were at the whim of this other group. Couldn't Lone Tree put up a partition or something? At this point, we were near the end of the meal. (They never brought out tea or coffee after lunch, either. Which we paid for). So we waited endlessly - yet again - for them to bring the bill. They didn't. I suggested we all start walking towards the door. Guess what: a pissed-off woman came running then. My husband told her, "I thought you forgot about us." Beware of this place. Go to White Eagle, go to Riggio's for an Italian meal - just avoid this place at all costs. Never again. read more

You start out with some stale bread. Then a bowl of chickenish noodle soup that appears to be Mrs Grass without all the annoying "flavor." My salad came out and I had wilted, brown lettuce. Gross. For the entrees, we had polish sausage (ok), breaded pork patties (ok), Silesian dumplings (mushy), some kind of beef medallion thing, instant mashed potatoes (no joke) and sourkraut that was not sour and was plain disgusting. I should've trusted the previous reviews but I'm here for a birthday party. We asked the waitress for straws and she brought out three straws wrapped in her shirt. Wrapped in her shirt! Lone tree manor is an overall an affordable and good place to have an event. I recent had my 18th birthday cotillion there and they did a good job of accommodating us. I recommend the cream of chicken and wild rice soup, roast beef, breaded chicken. As dessert we did get ice cream and it wasn't melted at all. Waitstaff wasn't friendly at all, hurriedly throwing plates on the table. They served ice cream for dessert and it was melted mush! I'm not sure which Lone Tree Manor most of these reviewers went to, but it certainly wasn't the Lone Tree Manor where I just had my wedding reception. Although the management is a bit old fashioned (details were recorded in a calender book, not a computer), everything was exactly to our specifications and as promised. The food was delicious and our guests complimented it highly. How can you argue with potato pierogies, three kinds of meat, soup, salad and other side dishes? We shopped around for reception locations in Chicago and the northwest suburbs and Lone Tree was by far the most reasonable. They also did a great job decorating the tables and the banquet room has been recently redone and looks fantastic. The large dance floor and spacious accommodations were perfect for our large guest list of 225. I truly have no complaints and would highly recommend this place for a wedding reception if you want excellent food, a fancy feel and a good price. read more
