The owner is a really nice guy and he'll make you feel welcome and glad you stopped in. Stay a night or longer, this place can really feel like a quiet spot.

Sadly, extreme heat caused a low voltage condition on the lone pull-thru site we picked, and all of the other sites (they had good power) were reserved. I'm in a 40-foot diesel pusher with a 20-foot enclosed trailer behind it, we fit easily. The bus-portion of our gravel pad was perfectly level. I got a call the next morning from the office to assure me that my fee was refunded, and that their maintenance people had found that the site voltage was normal. This is not uncommon for parks in the dead of August: too many 50 amp customers drawing heavy loads on one branch will cause low voltage at the remaining pedestal(s). Count me as an enthusiastic user of this place, from now on. It is tidy, scenic, as convenient as one can get. It is literally next to a Love's truck plaza, far enough from the Interstate that noise should not be a big issue. Just like all of us with RV's know, stuff happens. A park is like a big RV. I have called multiple times and keep getting different answers -- that it's up to "corporate" or that a check has already been sent, yet nothing has arrived. One staff member (Meagan) was especially rude and dismissive when I tried to get an update, which made the situation even worse. Lisa was the only person who showed kindness and professionalism, but unfortunately she is no longer there. At this point, I am simply asking for the refund that was promised. The next month was 745+ electric now starting July 1 I get another email saying they assess the area and the assessment was high so they're raising it 800+ electric they own the business and they're being very greedy when you talk to somebody about it and they are complete a holes so myself and quite a few other people left to find a more respectful and honest campground. It's not right to gouge prices on out-of-town workers, especially when you're going off assessment, but they own four other campgrounds in the area they can name their price and they choose to price gouge I can't wait till this Data Center is complete and they have no business I recommend not staying there. There is a couple other parks that are catering to these construction workers a lot better and closer because they have deals with the Data Center.
