We are extremely disappointed with our startup experience…read more The startup process for a new pool should involve much more than balancing water chemistry. It should include ensuring the equipment is operating correctly, verifying the automation system functions as intended, explaining how to use it, and leaving the homeowner with a fully functioning pool. From the beginning, we were told our issues were the electrician's responsibility. We had the electrician come back and correct the items that were mentioned, but the automation issues still were not resolved. Our pool pump would not operate correctly in Auto mode, and instead of receiving a solution, the startup technician had to call someone else for help navigating the Pentair app and another person for assistance with basic pool pump operation. Even after those calls, we were still left without a working solution. The most frustrating part is that we were simply looking for someone to help us fix the problem. We even expressed that we were willing to pay to have the equipment inspected if that was what it took to get our pool working properly. Instead, every issue we brought up seemed to become another reason why someone else was responsible. We don't care whose fault it is we just wanted our brand-new pool to work. As homeowners, we should not have to coordinate between contractors or listen to different companies blame one another. We hired professionals because we expected them to diagnose problems, communicate clearly, and help resolve them. Instead, we were left trying to troubleshoot the system ourselves while being told what other contractors should have done or needed to learn. This entire experience has been stressful, time consuming, and far below the level of service we expected. We invested a significant amount into our pool and simply wanted a smooth startup process with knowledgeable support and a working system. Unfortunately, that is not the experience we received. I do not recommend this company.
