Good people. Prostitutes and plenty of drugs. This motel has it all. Wow. What a motel.

Check-in was quick--they gave me two bottles of water and offered cookies. My room was nice, though it had a strange smell that only went away when the A/C was running. I prefer not to have my room cleaned during my stay, and the staff respected the "do not disturb" sign I left on the door each day. The ice machine on my floor was broken, so I had to go to the first floor for ice and water. The elevator made some concerning noises both while waiting and riding it, but it worked fine. The gym was better than most hotel gyms. It had five treadmills, a cable machine, a Peloton bike, dumbbells up to 50 lbs, benches, towels, and cleaning spray. It's open 24 hours with key access, which was a plus. Breakfast was basic but decent--eggs, waffles, bagels, pastries, and cereal. If you're not picky, it does the job. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The convenience of the on-site training and easy highway access, plus the short drive from DFW airport, made this a solid hotel choice.

While he is booking someone in without a reservation. Somehow again hilton has beat a paying customer out of their reserved rights. They had no assistance even after I called the Hilton service desk. Hilton has gone down hill. Should have known after staying there almost a year and a half after a fire made it required to rebuilt my home I didn't qualify for even permanent diamond. Sad but many services are just making money without any service to the customer this Tru was one. If you enjoy hostels and only staying a night or 2 with kids maybe try a Tru but definitely not this one. Hilton needs to do better.

Upon entering the lobby, I was met with a weird smell that carried throughout the room. When I checked in the front desk guy was on his personal phone with someone (no big deal, I just wanted to sleep for a few). After asking for by ID, he asked for my credit card info, I politely said no. I knew it was covered by my company. He asked again & I insisted it wasn't needed. Then he finally gave me my room key. The room was large, spacious, & overall clean. The bathroom was also very spacious, but I felt the floor was dirty and sticky. Overall, I'm giving it 3.5 stars (rounding up to 4). While it wasn't terrible by any means, I'd just prefer to stay elsewhere.

It does not really stand out to me and verged a bit on disappointing, though this might have been because I was tired from traveling. The room itself must not be one of them that they picture, maybe some renovated/some not? Mine didn't feel renovated at all, instead a bit tired and run down. The shower (which had awful water pressure, barely trickles) had an ugly yellowish color scheme for its tiles. The bed is weirdly high up and medium-firm but comfortable enough. I have become spoiled by hotels that feature Netflix, YouTube, and/or other apps/services in addition to live TV. This TV was a regular TV and nothing more, which is not a huge problem itself. Even so, it was a bit jarring to see, especially since its "TV guide" channel looked straight out of the early 90s. The free shuttle is great. It makes stops anywhere people want, which is understandable, and the airport is huge, so build in some extra time. We had a bit of a scare because the driver was said to be a bit late, but we then got an update a few minutes later that the driver would be on time, and he was! Phew.

As soon as I gave my credit card over the phone, the guy just hung up on me. I called back thinking maybe it was a dropped call -- nope. He hung up. Straight up. He said I'd get confirmation by email -- never got it. I called again the day of arrival to make sure everything was good. No help. Just the same excuse: "Check your email." I spelled it out multiple times. Still nothing. When I got there, the TV didn't even work. The front desk guy had the worst attitude I've ever dealt with -- unhelpful, rude, and dismissive. I asked to speak with a manager and was told I'd have to wait until MONDAY. I was leaving Sunday. What kind of place has no management available on weekends? And then -- surprise -- they overcharged me. I paid for two nights, but there was an extra charge for a night I wasn't even there. When I called again to ask, they refused to give me any real answers or connect me with someone in charge. Total scam behavior. This place is rundown, overpriced, and the staff clearly don't care. The customer service from the staff was top notch. The bartender to the front desk and valet were all amazing. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Upon checking in they greet you with a welcome glass of wine. This was a nice surprise and unexpected. My room was clean and cozy. The decor inside my room was vintage and modern. Bonus was the thick robe hanging up for me. There is a mini bar, safe, refrigerator and coffee maker. The bed was soft and comfortable. The ambiance of the room and all hotel areas were beautifully designed. The lobby with the fireplace was filled with lovely furniture. I had a happy and peaceful visit. I would definitely stay here again. Book the room! My only negative is...Parking is $$$ You are already paying a premium amount for the rooms and experience so this should be cheaper for guests.
