Mr. James promised a great job when he came to our home and gave us a bid on our new tile floor…read more Now after the floor has been done he will not back his work. over 40% of the tiles are loose and the grout(wrong color) around the tiles are busting out. We called many times and he would not answer or return our calls. Finally we were able to trick him into coming over to give a bid on some work. He had already forgotten he had been to our home until he saw us when he came in. He told us he was going to make it right and that he will get over as soon as possible to have it all fixed. We have 5 extra tiles and he took one of them to try and match the tile incase any are broken during the repair. Now he will not return our calls and has one of the tiles we need. We have given up on him and have even left a message asking him to return the tile so we would be able to have it in the event we break some during repair. I advise anyone and everyone to not use James Carpet and Floor in Orange, TX, He is a liar and does horrible work.

My wife had an accident (broke her hip) we ask him for a delay of a few weeks before he does the job. In the mean time we had to make a decision not have the job done, and ask for our money back. He has refused return our money. He will not answer his phone or return our calls. He has never made any attempt to start the flooring job.
