Ordered the High Noon Lamb Shoulder Rack ($45) expecting a generous portion of slow-roasted lamb shoulder. What arrived was four meagre chops that were overwhelmingly bone with a sliver of meat clinging to each one. Let's be clear: this is a rack, not a shoulder. The name is deliberately misleading.
The "potato bake" was an afterthought drowned in rosemary to the point where you couldn't taste potato at all, and the "fresh seasonal vegetables" were charred beyond recognition. I genuinely could not identify what vegetables I was eating.
To add insult to injury, we waited over an hour for this. An hour. For four bony chops on a plate that looked like it had been assembled in a rush and forgotten under a heat lamp.
$45 for a portion of lamb that wouldn't satisfy a child, sides that tasted like they were seasoned by someone who'd lost their sense of proportion, and a wait time that suggests the kitchen had completely lost the plot. A thoroughly disappointing experience I won't be repeating. read more
