The beautiful towering Live Oaks gives it a nature feel and the trees are maintained well. Close to beaches without that sandy feel. Close to town within/ 10 minutes, of show,shopping,and excellent restaurants. I even had my groceries delivered out here from HEB( so you know it's close to town). The AT&T coverage, is 5 bars. The Wifi is over the top and not the usual spotting reception that is usually at RV parks. It is maintained with sprayers , every few weeks for bugs, the grounds are maintained by professional movers, so it kept top notched. As previous owners of a RV park, i know what to tune into, and i will proudly give Live Oak RV park a 5 start rating.

Having stayed in parks from Seattle to here, I don't say that lightly. The beautiful oak trees provided a neverending stream of unique birds that were very amusing. The proximity to the gulf provided a great place to relax with a cool breeze. Scanning other parks close by showed us another beautiful place with a 450.00all inclusive rent. We are grandfathered in so our rent won't ever change. As a cancer patient I make several trips for treatment in Houston. There is a clinic close by. Fuel prices are .30less in the area and that adds up. On fixed incomes, this made the move too hard to resist. So with a heavy heart I leave this review and move on. Love to all. Mike and Rosie

Oyster creek lies on the other side of the levee. Where it is well maintained and perfect for fishing or just relaxing and listening to the sounds of nature. I was delighted to find out about the covered spots. What a relief from the Texas heat, and to be able to comfortably sit outside during a nice rain storm. I'm lucky enough to work at the beach, which is a very short yet beautiful drive down levee rd. The owner Rodney can be seen riding through the park checking on various things and visiting with the guests. You can tell he really cares about the park and I'm so thankful that he shares his small slice of heaven with myself and others. Green acres is the place to be, trailer living is the life for me. The speeding that people do in this park is outrageous. They will run you over or your pet . We complained several times and the manager/ owners never did anything about it . There is so many people coming in and out all the time - so it's not a quiet park and it has high traffic all the time . The laundry room washers and dryers suck , they do not wash not dry your clothes at all and it is very expensive. It is so much cheaper to go to a laundry mat than to wash clothes at the park . We stayed there for over a year and it was horrible !

We used their sheltered tables, to sit out and enjoy our surroundings. It is close to eating establishments, shops, and entertainment. The beaches were only a short drive away. Highly recommend using this RV park, and the price was very reasonable, with full hook-ups. We will certainly be using this park on our future visits to Freeport.

It's terrible. I thought I'd have a bad night with my 3 month old....& this is worse! The entire park is gravel, and holds standing water after a rainstorm. The 15/20 amp is blocked from use, thankfully we had a 50 amp converter. We were told to go to one site (without a map) and finally found it and someone was in it. Called the office and was redirected to a spot behind us and had to circle back around. Not a great experience but thankfully we're just using it as a place to (attempt to) sleep while we're visiting family in town.
