Awesome camp! A great place to get away from the city and learn about God. Tons of memories built here.

From the outside this place didn't look like much but as soon as we got inside boy were the kids…read moreever happy! It was about $20 for 2 kids and 1 adult which is a great price for a day trip spot. Inside there are many spots to picnic as you are not allowed to bring food into the outdoor pool space but you can eat your food out in the common areas of the Centre. You can purchase food from the concession inside the Centre. We ordered the chicken strips and fries and both were agreeable for the kids. There are 2 big slides although when we went only one way open. The kids have to be a certain height to slide down alone and unfortunately my oldest was too small to go down by herself even though she wanted to go, can swim, and is the same age as her peers who were able to go down when she was not. So that is one downfall if you have younger kids like I do. The hot tub is quite large and not overly hot but still warm enough to heat you up as there can be a bit of a breeze in the outdoor areas. The pool has a lazy river, diving board, splash park, and large pools for playing. Its really a great place to spend the day. People bring in their own chairs to sit on however there are some loungers and chairs available should you not bring one for yourself. There are also life jackets available in all sizes! I found the entrance and the path to the pool to be accessible an even there was a nice slanted entry to the pool and hot tub as well! There is lots of parking on site and the service staff, lifeguards, and concession staff were all so friendly and helpful! Everyone did a great job and I would come back here and recommend to others as well if you're in the area or want to do a daytrip this is a great family fun spot.

The pool is a very fun place where family and friends can get together and enjoy a wonderful time together. I'm only rating this 4 because I cannot give this place a concrete 5 stars without seeing all of the places. But the watermark alone deserves this high of a rating with its 2 very fun paced water slides and its hot tub. If you were wanting to come here I highly recommend it! The staff are nothing but nice and the place is always an enjoyable experience!

Leduc Rec Centre (LRC) is the old Black Gold Centre with some fancy upgrades…read more The LRC has the pool, skating rink and concession from before. But now there's also a field-house, a court (for basketball and games like that), curling rink, an exercise facility, walking track, event space (with a kitchen), restaurant and lounge, and an Orange Julius/DQ. The last point may seem pretty strange, go work out and then get a Blizzard. But that's why it's a "rec centre" and not a "fitness centre." The LRC is also where the rodeo is held each May, with the fair outside. The field-house/court also have been used for trade shows and other events like that. And of course sporting tournaments, Admission ranges from $7.50 for a single admission to $487 for an annual pass. If you get the pass (which also comes just monthly if you don't want a big commitment) you get access to the fitness centre and the other facilities (like the pool and skating rink) when they're open to the public (and not booked for private lessons). I've been to the fitness facility and it's pretty standard, treadmills, elliptical trainers, bikes, weights and weight machines that I don't know the name of, you know stuff you'd find in a gym/fitness facility. The LRC also has some drop in fitness programs, but it seems the more popular options (like Zumba) you have to pay extra for. Considering how much has been added to the old Black Gold Centre (to make it the LRC) this place is pretty spiffy. I wish the drop in classes were a little bit more fun (right now it's all "older adult cardio" and that sort of thing). Still if you're in Leduc and looking to workout, or just go skating or swimming, etc this is the best place to go.
