And they gave us a wonderful and insightful tour about the alpacas, and about how the alpaca wool is used to make socks, scarves, gloves, hats, other kinds of clothing, and handbags! The tour of the alpaca farm is free. And at the end of the tour, the owners take you to their gift shop, where you buy items made of alpaca wool. When we visited, there was one alpaca who was pregnant. We found out after our trip to New Mexico that the alpaca baby was born after we had visited the farm. I highly recommend visiting this farm if you happen to be in this area of New Mexico! It will be well worth it as part of your trip to the Southwest!

The artist is known for stating " it's my private mountain, it belongs to me ".... It continues with more details that I won't get into . As a tribal member of two Pueblo tribes from AZ and NM. I understood the natives view about the artist . Overall , I think it was a nice exhibit , well put together and had a small store attached to the museum for those interested in purchasing souvenirs. I'm glad I visited since it is a part of art history.

I loved sipping honey lavender tea and sparkling lavender water while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. It's a perfect place to reset and eat well. The staff was incredibly helpful. They even lent me a humidifier to help with the dry air and a phone charger when I needed one. I also attended a gentle flow yoga class that was thoughtfully designed and very grounding. A truly special place that balances comfort, wellness, and natural beauty.
