Dr Larson is amazing! Have been going for more than a year. She has a touch that tells you she knows your body and how to fix the pain!

I really did not want to get a knee replacement. I am 62 years old and would probably be looking at a second knee replacement in 10 to 12 years. I finally reached a point that getting up in the morning was terrible, I could hardly walk. I knew that it would not be many years until I was in a wheelchair if I didn't do something. But what? None of the doctors I had seen did anything to help me other than telling me I needed surgery. When my friend suggested acupuncture, I thought I might as well try it. If it didn't work I would be no worse off. I found Andrew Wen in Anthem, AZ about 15 minutes from my home. I sent him an email explaining my situation and he called me that very night. After listening to what he had to say I could not wait to get started. I started seeing Andrew at the end of February and I must say he is simply amazing. My right knee felt better after my very first treatment. I am still a work in progress, I had several issues that needed addressing. It took me many years to get myself into this mess. So, it is not a one treatment fix. If I only knew about acupuncture back then! I have improved so much. I no longer need a knee replacement. I have learned that pain can come from a different place than what you might think. My knee pain is not completely gone, but it is way better than it was before. Because of the pain in my foot and my knee, my husband used to say a walked like a penguin. The pain in my knee was so bad, the way I walked changed, which ended up causing me problems with my left foot and ankle. The stiffness in my ankle made everything worse. Andrew has been treating my left ankle as part of the process to make my right knee better. Yes, you read that correctly. My stiff left ankle was causing some of the pain in my right knee. I now understand now that with my right knee hurting so badly when I walked, I was shifting my weight to my left side which caused a lot of stress on my left ankle and made it very stiff. As a result, while walking, my weight shifted to the inside of my right knee causing a lot of pain. As I said I am a work in progress. I am walking better and feeling better thanks to Andrew. He is the nicest man! He always makes sure I am comfortable and explains very clearly why he is doing the treatment that he is doing and how it will help. I have learned so much about the human body that I did not know before. The whole process has been a wonderful experience. I will be forever grateful to Andrew Wen for giving me my life back. Thank you!!
