He loves to cook, and it shows in the quality of his food. When we did a tasting with him, he gave us some ideas, coached us on what food would be best for our venue, and accommodated our special requests. When we left, the Mrs. and I both mentioned we were glad he would be at our wedding, even it was as a guest. Great guy. On the day of the wedding, Scott handled the food perfectly, we didn't stress about a single thing. Everyone loved the menu, the appetizers were delicious, and the signature mashed potatoes are divine. Scott is the best, prices are reasonable, certainly under-priced for the level of quality and service he provides. Very very happy with our caterer!

She was so very organized and great to work with! She's very friendly, funny, and outgoing! She takes great pride in her work and goes the distance to make sure you're happy! She took charge of the event and reassured me she'd take care of everything. She directed everyone on when they should walk down the aisle and with whom they should walk. She set everything up (cake, guest book, chairs, tables, etc.). She even had someone available to run the iPod during the ceremony (sound system complements of YouDoDJ). Everything was perfect. Speaking of perfect, the food was AMAZING! I'm still hearing about how wonderful the food was. We had Pork Tenderloin with a Huckleberry Demi Glace, Italian Chicken Roulade, Roasted Red Potatoes, their Signature Salad (with cranberries and the most delicious candied walnuts), fruit, sourdough bread, and lemonade and coffee to drink (to accompany Arbor Crest's wine). Everything was great. It was one of the best meals I've eaten, and I'm picky! People were saying it was the best wedding food EVER! Service was friendly and attentive. They came around to refill drinks. They even wrapped up leftovers for us to take home. All the staff was very kind and professional. Price was competitive and reasonable! If you need any event catered, I would recommend Catered For You. I have no complaints whatsoever!

Our heavy hors d'oeuvres (Summer Garden Flatbread Bar) outdoor wedding reception for 230 guests was an outstanding success! Fantastic food can be effectively destroyed by poor presentation and service, and great service and presentation cannot mask average food. From the moment we met Kristen we felt strongly that Ivory Table would deliver on all accounts, and deliver they did! The artisan and flat breads, marinated chicken and flank steak, variety of spreads (the feta scallion spread, omigosh!), cranberry quinoa salad, garden vegetables and dips, cascading fruit tower... it all was beautifully presented and absolutely fantastic to the taste. And as for budget and logistics... fear not, Kristen's creativity and eye for detail allowed it all to be developed and managed to meet a desired budget range, and the Ivory Table professionalism and attention to detail made it a worry-free, don't-have-to-think-about-whether-any-detail-is-forgotten day for the entire wedding party. The Business: I think this place is new, but I was able to find a Fan Page on Facebook, and it allowed me to find their information. Located in Renton?? It's so close to home! However, being that TBB hasn't earned its place in the hearts of mobile food stand lovers yet, I see why some people might be skeptical to try it. The Food: DELICIOUS. I ordered the coconut chicken slider and had a bite of the kobe beef slider. The coconut chicken was scrumptious! The chicken was breaded and so crispy on the outside and the meat was perfectly cooked and tender on the inside. It felt like I was biting into a fish sandwich (well, almost). The coconut was sweet and delectable. The kobe beef sliders were tasty as well. The aioli it was coated with had a nice spice profile. Both of these little sliders packed a punch of flavor! We made many adjustments to the menu, time frame and number of guests but they just rolled with it and were quick to respond with email, which is so important to any bride planning a wedding! We knew we wanted a taco truck from the beginning to fit the laid back vibe we were looking for. I know a taco truck isn't what they do for most weddings, and they may not be able to do this for anyone, anytime but it worked out since our wedding site was close to their home. We were so excited when they said they were willing to pull their taco truck into the backyard and serve out of the window verses serving the meal buffet style, which is easier for everyone. They pulled together the best combination of dishes, adjusted the price and assembled a menu to match our vision. Sabrina was a great source for small wedding details since she used to be a wedding coordinator! We were hesitant to choose more of a Mexican dish, since we knew they specialized in Jamaican food, but they did a great job and were great sports about it. As the bride, I only got to have one small plate, and it was cold when I was finally able to eat but everyone RAVED about every single thing from their customer service to the fresh lemonade!! The fact that they were local and pride them selves on maintaining that sold me the second I found their website. Everything turned out perfect. The bottom line is they were flexible and very accommodating! I totally reccommend Green Bluff Fresh to anyone whether you're looking for a laid back vibe or a more sophisticated dinner!!

The church service was from 11 a.m. to noon, with the reception scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. The order confirmation listed noon as the event start time, and I also explained the schedule by phone. I provided a church contact to assist with logistics, information about the basement location and elevator, and available table sizes. I requested a brief meeting before the funeral to review the final details, but that meeting did not happen. When I entered the reception area after the service, nothing was set up. Approximately 100 guests were arriving while the catering team was bringing things in using the same stairway as the mourners. It was chaotic at a time when our family needed calm and dependable service. The food was good, and guests seemed to enjoy it. However, the planned three-tier charcuterie presentation was not provided, which the owner later acknowledged. Having food eventually served is not the same as having a reception ready when it is scheduled to begin. When I raised my concerns, the owner cited the short booking window, scheduling limitations, and circumstances at the event. To me, these explanations felt like excuses rather than accountability. If the company could not provide the catering as promised within the available time, it should not have accepted the job and my payment. I relied on their assurances that they could handle this important occasion professionally. I requested a refund of the charges other than the food--not a full refund. That request was refused. This experience added unnecessary stress and heartache to the day we buried my son. Based on both the service we received and the handling of my complaint, I would not recommend Compassion Catering to anyone, for any occasion.
