Working with Danielle was such a pleasure and my event was amazing. Touring the venue is like an AirBNB host - you get a code and self-tour. Also, all the steps to book, make payments, coordinate the decor and even add-ons like bartenders, decorations, etc. were available through a portal which was very easy & professional. She was also available via text for random questions. My 50th planning committee was hands on & showed up early to get in at set up time. I also had my vendors - Bartender, DJ, photobooth and caterers set up before guests arrived. I had notified my guests when to arrive for my grand entrance! Overall, the perfect location for parking (free on the street), a unique setting, intimate and you can customize it to your liking. It felt like a Brooklyn loft and was a big hit! 10/10 highly recommend!

From my understanding, people were parking down the street once space in front was gone. There is a small kitchen in the back with a refrigerator and a sink. The bathroom was really cute and clean. The DJ area was spacious and nice also. There are buildings in shelves alongside one wall and bricks on the other. I absolutely loved the look and feel of this space. It was chic and rich with color. The hardwood floors only added to the beauty of this space. I would definitely recommend having events here. I don't know how many people it can hold, but I saw a lounge area, two large round tables, a full bar, and three long tables with food while I was here. Decorations were done by A Touch of Tanya G for this birthday party. www.atouchoftanyag.com

I found this place to host my grandmother's 85th birthday…read moreparty. I was excited because the location was great, the hall was nice, and it's black owned. However, one of the owners (Elaine), good customer service is not part of her business etiquette. I rented the venue from 6pm-12am, but I live out of state, things happen and needed a little extra time. I called to extend the time but I was met with resistance until her husband chimed in and I was able to extend to 1am. I started cleaning up right before 12. By the time the owners showed up to check on their other venue next door, my family and I were loading up cars and sweeping and the DJ was breaking down, we were still within our time frame. There were some confetti balloons that popped and we were sweeping the last of it up, Elaine said it was fine and not to worry about sweeping, we still swept it up and we were still within our time frame. The next morning while watching IG stories, I noticed the event hall posted a shady post in regards to my event. My husband called the owners to express our disdain about the post and Elaine was completely cold and unapologetic. Instead she gave a bs justification as to why she made the post. She claims that her post was to relate to other event owners because a lot of them follow her. My thing is, perception is everything! Making a shady post about your clients event is NOT good business. We followed your checklist, and left your event hall spotless, with the exception of 4 pieces of confetti under a table, that you asked us to stop cleaning! If that forfeited the deposit, cool! But what's not acceptable is a shady post and a bs justification as to why you made that post! Other event owners are not your clients, the people who rent from you are! I received no correspondence about my deposit, I didn't even know I lost it until I saw the post on Instagram, that is unprofessional as hell! I love my people, and love supporting black businesses, but I can understand why many people don't. It's because of the lack of customer service. It's absolutely disgusting! This woman Elaine doesn't give a damn about customer retention. Her motto must be, "take the money and go"! I feel like I was cheated out of the remainder of my deposit but I'm completely mortified by her unprofessional post! I run a business too so I understand both ends of the spectrum. Based off of that alone I would never recommend this place to anyone and I know a hell of a lot of people in Douglasville!
