We used this venue for our Dad's 70th Birthday Bash. It was everything I dreamt it would be! Working with this venue was one of the easiest parts of the party planning. The bartender, security, 80% of the decorations, suite to change clothes and space came with our package. The staff was extremely helpful and on point. We also utilized the catering service recommended by the venue. Best decision ever!!! If you are thinking about it....just do it! This is the place to make your memories. Mina is a God send! She and staff are extremely helpful and professional. We hosted my boyfriends 50th celebration and it was fabulous! Mina took care of EVERYTHING. And what she couldn't take care of, she recommended a top notch vendor that could. The caterer, DJ, photographer, bartender, security, etc were all exceptional! We still have guests inquiring about the great tasting food. The venue is white-glove clean and conveniently located to south Atlanta. I hate to leave this place 2 stars, but the attitude of the business owner makes this place not worth booking. I am on the PTA board at my son's pre school and the director booked this venue for their promotional exercise. Anytime I called to ask a question the owner seemed utterly annoyed and like she was in a rush to get me off the phone. One time, she even returned a voicemail I left her and rudely asked "who are you again?" in the middle of me asking her a question (she should've known who I was based on my voicemail where I identified myself and left my number for her to call me back). Next, me and another PTA member were in the area so we dropped by to peak inside to look at the space so we would know how to decorate. It was open and the owner was inside with a very dry attitude and demeanor regarding our questions despite us trying to be polite and explain who we were. The director of my son's preschool informed us that she was told she couldn't drop off chairs the night before because there would be an event there early Thursday morning (the owner lied about this...more on that in a second). The biggest disrespect came the day of the event. We had ordered balloons from Party City. The drop off times were either 10-2 or 2-4pm. We choose a drop off of 10-2 because the owner told our director their was an event there that morning which is why she couldn't drop of her chairs the night before and we figured it would be open and because our event started at 4pm and we didn't want to risk the balloons being delivered after set up and right when the event started. The Party City employee called me at noon frantic saying the door was locked but he saw the light on, the car outside, and saw someone in the back. He tried to call the number on the door, ring the doorbell, and knock, but whoever was inside refused to acknowledge him. Thinking quickly, we sent the balloons a few suites down to the Play Pad and called the owner and asked her if she could stash them for us to which she was so nice and obliged. How is the place closed with someone in there and furthermore how is it closed if you had a morning event? Did that event only last one hour? No. There clearly was no event and she clearly lied. She simply did not want to be truthful about not wanting to accommodate us or our preschool director (who has used the venue a few times before so for her to be treated like this was pretty awful). The space is small but clean. They claim it houses 130 people concert setting but there's no way that could be true. The pictures of the venue are mislead because it's definitely smaller than it looks online. It's nice for a birthday party, baby shower, or a small casual event. However, spend your money elsewhere were you will be treated nicer. It's a shame that we have limited event options in our area and even more a shame that someone who seemingly hates people decided to open a business that involves interacting with people on major joyous life events. I would never pesonally use this venue or recommend it. Furthermore, we will never use this venue again and we informed our preschool director and we've already looked at other options for the upcoming school year. Now that covid restrictions have dropped, we plan on having a few events including the end of the year promotional ceremony and it would've been nice to use this venue since it is right up the street, but the owners attitude canceled that. read more

I had my very 1 st baby shower at this venue. We paid for extra time to set up at 11:30 and the event started at 2 o'clock and was set to to end at 5@o'clock and break down was til 6 o'clock. At 4:30 Wanda shut down my djs music and the bar. She began to harass my mom and aunt. My guest started to help breaking down and take gifts out because they were under pressure as is it was past 6 o'clock and it was only 5:07. She made my event very stressful and unprofessional arguing in front of my guest. We had over 5 parties there and we will never return again. Wanda needs to be handled accordingly when people are patronizing a business. This Place was our go-to but we will NEVER return again. read more

I had the pleasure of hosting a baby shower at this business over the weekend. My expectations were far exceeded. The space itself is beautiful and classy. The colors are neutral with allowed me to keep the theme of the shower with no problem. There is a chef kitchen with warmers and two spacious bathrooms. May not be important to some, but with a baby shower of 40 attendees, it was much needed! I worked with Mina to reserve my event and she was fantastic! Very professional and accommodating. While my event was a shower, they also have an area that can serve as a bar and a nice dance floor. Honestly, if I could give more stars, I would. I am not the easiest person to impress, but Mina managed to do that for me. I highly recommend that if you need a venue for a gathering that you contact Elegant Occasions, you can't go wrong with them. read more
