The staff are very good at following up with reminders of appointments and calls to ensure that you're feeling okay after treatment. I also really appreciate that this office has gone digital - all of the forms can be completed online before your appointment and the staff regularly communicate via email. Finally, the great location just outside of the LRT means that I can hop a train home and avoid all of the downtown traffic. While I wouldn't hope for another root canal, if I had to have another, I'd certainly go back to Dr. Lahl!

The receptionist, Michelle, is extremely ill-suited to a job dealing with people. They don't do direct billing, so I had a bill of $4000 to be paid before leaving. I am a poor university student. She spoke to me like I was stupid when I was upset about having to pay such a huge bill, and made me cry. She was ridiculously rude while I was numbed up and still in pain, saying I didn't understand how the 'real world' worked and I needed to learn a lesson. I have good benefits which covered most of the bill, but for whatever reason they don't direct bill, so I had to max out my credit card. I got back to by car and sobbed because of the how badly I had been treated. They need to fire Michelle!! My father had a similar experience with her at his appointment, likening her to the ugly troll who doesn't let people pass her bridge without payment. Left an awful taste in my mouth and will tell everyone I know not to go there because of her.

My son had a lot of work done on his teeth . Brett did a lot of filling and rebuilt some teeth and took some out. He was so good with him . What surprised me most that he actually took the time after hours to call me at home to see how my son was doing. For such a young man to really care about his patients is nice to see. He has worked on my wife and child's teeth and every bit of advice he gave turned out to be what is best for us. For example another dentist said my 9 year old son should have a filling on a baby tooth while Dr. Habib said if it's not hurting leave it as it will fall out anyway.
