To my dismay, the Contractor haven't even started the job yet, as the Air Base authority didn't allow anyone to climb the tower due to structural issue of the tower. For any antenna work to be done on the tower, the Contractor must use a Man-lift, which is a retractable boom with bucket at the top. The Contractor asked if he could have the job re-scheduled for another day. I told him that he should try calling a heavy equipment rental company in Santa Maria, which is only about 20-miles away from VAFB, if they got a Man-lift available for immediate delivery. The guy at Hertz Equipment Rental said that they got it and it will be there on the site in 45-minutes. Actually, the Man-lift got there in 40-minutes, got the job done and we didn't have to re-schedule it. I really don't know if there's anybody here who needs to rent a Man-lift at all, but if ever you do need one in Santa Barbara County area, Herts Rental is the company to call.

The table was refinished and ready in a very short time period. I feel what I was charged was very reasonable and within our budget for the project.
