On the date of the event, she & her partner arrived early and set up, and even helped me set up where they could. The margaritas were a hit! Kandace is a bomb bartender. She pre-made drinks so attendees could grab and go, and added more drinks as needed. All flavors were delicious, but the cucumber jalapeno was clearly the most popular (and was also my favorite). I was very impressed with their professionalism and quality. Would definitely recommend and would book again!

I got married here in February 2026…read more My husband and I are pretty introverted, and as a bride, I lacked experience when it comes to party planning in general, so when it came to planning a wedding, I was a bit overwhelmed. However, Gather made the wedding event planning process so easy and seamless. I had trouble putting into words and images the vision I had for our wedding, but Maritza was able to do it with ease. From the decorations to the bar and food, everything came out perfectly. We were going for a mix of whimsical and modern, incorporating different shades of pink and blue because those are our favorite colors. In fact, on our first wedding planning meeting, I told Maritza that our vibe is like Taylor Swift's 1989 and Midnights albums together. We also had her husband, David, as our photographer, and he was amazing. I really wanted him to capture our quirky sides, and he delivered. I watched a lot of YouTube videos about what makes a good wedding. Usually, it is only the couple that remembers the wedding, but to this day, our wedding has been talked about by our family and friends. They appreciated the intimate setting and the little details, which, to be honest, were all possible by Maritza, David, and the Gather team. :)

She was so thorough in her communication, VERY hands on and supportive with vendors, and she ensured our event ran smoothly. For the venue space, there is one restroom and they provide a changing table which is PERFECT for our event. They arranged for bartender service and also helped cleanup and keeping the event tidy with making sure trash cans were managed, dirty glassware was constantly picked up, and venue amenities were running smoothly (music, lighting, fans, clean up). We utilized the parking in the back but it is metered so you have to keep an eye on the meter. However, it was extremely convenient to have for loading and unloading. They will be my go-to venue space going forward.

Over the last four or five years, there has been a sharp decline overall. The pool is dirty, the lounge chairs are ripped and thread bare. Some of the lounge chairs have been replaced by cheap plastic style chairs one sees at Ace Hardware and those are breaking down as well. The outdoor dining chairs on the patio have seen better days and the gym hasn't been properly cleaned. There have been broken mirrors, and exercise equipment that was broken or missing and never replaced. The food has gone steadily laid downhill despite a dining room makeover. (see Rachel H's review for the link) It is when visiting other karaoke bars that I appreciate Bob even more. He has great karaoke etiquette. He understands the value in a consistent singer rotation and makes sure that everyone has the opportunity to sing. He then keeps everyone in order so you know that if the person who sang before you last round is singing again then you have approximately four minutes to figure out what you want to sing next. He can also change the key of a song so if it's too high or low you can ask him to adjust it accordingly. I attended Rachel H's wedding where Bob KJed. He did a fabulous job. We got there early to help set up and he was there before us, already setting up his speakers and other karaoke paraphernalia. Before his KJ duties began, I had the chance to talk with him a little bit about his role at weddings. I was very impressed with his professionalism and his desire to make sure that everything ran smoothly. As Rachel H. already mentioned, he has a lovely singing voice and is happy to sing requests. He is especially good at Elvis tunes and those always get a crowd going.
