They let you dictate what you want and don't want, which is good for those who prefer to skip some of the fixins. The tortilla was firm and held everything within the taco well. The meat was prepped well, so it wasn't too heavy, nor did you feel that you were getting shortchanged. At $3.25, it's competitively priced, and I'm glad they got their namesake right. Asada / Cabeza Burrito: I really enjoyed their burrito. They just understand the right mix of rice, beans, protein, and additives. Around the $12, it's a very good dinner option and an even better midnight meal option when most businesses are done for the day. Ambiance: It's literally on the sidewalk. They also have a grill and a few open burners for making the chilaquiles to order. I didn't see any prices. Chilaquiles rojo with one fried egg ($13): the portion was huge. The corn tortilla chips were on the thicker side and broken into pieces of different sizes. There were some crispy bites but the chips did turn soggy, very soggy. The roja sauce had a nice amount of heat and some tang. The chilaquiles were topped with crema and cheese. I added cilantro, chopped onions, pickled onions, and lime. The refried beans on the bottom also made the chips soggy. Verdict - too soggy and too big. The tortillas are made by hand. There's also a self-serve salsa and condiments bar with four types of salsa, lime wedges, cilantro, onion, pickled onions, cucumber slices, and radish slices.
