First impression of this "World-class Veterinarian" I was highly impressed! However, I allowed them…read moreto be my "trusted veterinarian"; HUGE MISTAKE. I was talked into starting the CareClub program which seemed extremely helpful, I was only able to take advantage of this for 3 months although I was locked into an agreement for a year. 27 days post spay surgery I had to make the hardest decision in my life due the severity of my attack. Completely came out of nowhere, I had to call animal control which took 3 days to remove my cat from my home..My first instinct was to call my "trusted veterinary clinic" I was asked from the woman over the phone "Why would you bring her here?". Extremely disrespectful and disheartening to hear that from the last people to touch your baby! I wanted to ensure that I was not going to be continuously charged for my CareClub plan so I have now called 3-4 times and physically went into the office to show the staff the severity of my wounds.. I was assured by the wonderful receptionists (THE MOST HELPFUL AND CONSIDERATE employees!) that I would receive a phone call from the Office Manager on Thurs, the 19th. I never received a call, so I called first thing Friday morning and was told that "oh the manager took care of it." I understand the situation was "taken care of", I deal with legal agreements daily. Maybe it's too much to ask, but I would have expected some sort of email addressing the termination of the agreement. WHERE IS THE COMMUNICATION?!?!?!? WorldClass Veterinarian? Hmm do your research.

If I could give this business a zero rating I would. I would not recommend this business for dog…read moretraining, that's for sure!! Unless you would like your dog trained by getting a boot in side when he doesn't respond appropriately, or maybe a slap in the face if your dogs teeth graze the trainers hand! Worst of all, my dog ALSO Had to raised scabbed areas on his neck that I did not see until I gave him a bath! I had no Idea what it was, but I had a suspicion! I had to take him to the vet because his fur was so thick and I could not see them. The vet had to shave them to biopsy. My dog had 2 indentions where the shock collar had been left on him SO tight that it left red sores that scabbed, and looked like puncture marks. My heart was broken that my dog had been so mistreated. And to top it all off, he did NOT leave that place doing anything he didn't already know how to do when he got there! Sit, stay, and 1/2 way how to heel. Do not waste 1500.00 on this place. They are brutal! The dad may be a good trainer, but not the son!!

We wanted them to be trained so that when people came into our home they would not be afraid of being "mauled" by our dogs. They took our puppies for 3 months and when we got them back they were trained both off leash and on. Our dogs don't jump on people, they enjoy being around other dogs, and obey the commands we give them. Alana, Zack, and Ron were very helpful and kind the entire time. After we got them back they would come over if we were experiencing difficulties and even when we weren't to see how the dogs (and us) were doing. We are so glad that we took our dogs there. During the next four years we have frequently brought our dogs to be kenneled there. We know that they love our dogs and take excellent care of them. They always go above and beyond in their care of our dogs. My husband and I highly recommend Oakwood Kennels.

I left my two dogs at Hamilton Pet Resort back in July for 15 days while we went to Georgia and…read moreWashington D.C. on vacation. They called us the following day after we left to tell us that one of my dogs (Kia) had died. The dog was old but in good health when we took her there (she had just got a check-up). At the time we were just thinking she may have died from the combination of old age and the stress from being in a strange environment. When we got back in town we went by to pick up the other dog. They refused to let us come back where the dogs were kept. When we dropped the dogs off, they took us back there. It took them almost 30 minutes to bring Sheba to the front, and they would not let us see her. I kindly asked the lady if I could see my dog, and she said they had to get her ready. When they finally brought Sheba to the front she looked very scared. She would normally be all over us if we were away from her for just a few hours, but she was acting afraid. I went to pet her and she blinked as if I was going to hit her. That is when I noticed a nasty cut on both of her front paws. I asked them about it , but they claimed they don't know how it happened. This was impossible to miss. When I got her home, and gave her a bath I noticed she had a ring around her neck. It was like she had a thin rope or wire around her neck. i called Hamilton Pet Spa to ask about this. They just told me that chock collars were legal. I also noticed that she was full of fleas. I know she has never had fleas, because I check her daily, and treat her for fleas. She is in the house most of the time. I am not sure what they did to my dogs, but Kia (my older dog) did not survive it. The younger dog still has some issues when going to the vet. She thinks we are going to leave her. I am very disappointed in this place and will never take an animal there again. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They need to shut Hamilton Pet Resort and Spa down.

Buckle up here we go so I had two large American bulldogs and I r try very hard to build…read morerelationships with the vet however I got a different Vet almost every time the man that owns it is very nice. However he told me not to give my dog insulin unless she ate. She had just been diagnosed with diabetes what do I do if she doesn't eat and he said just call me and I'll talk to you. I called him three times the last time in tears as a girl Nicole tells me he's in a meeting. She'll make sure that he calls me back well I had to end up going to the emergency vet at three in the morning and putting my dog down, cause I basically killed her by not giving her insulin cause I didn't know what to do. Maybe that one's on me for not getting more educated or distressing in someone that they would answer then every time I've gone there with two large dogs I don't think I ever spent less than $$800 and sometimes more sometimes a little less that's an average than after going to them for about two years spending tons of money when I go put my 12-year-old American bulldog down I was crying so hard. I could not even see they have me get up off the floor with her before they agreed to put her down and have me pay $252 before hand when mind you I never had an issue paying my card went through every single time I couldn't believe it. It was so inappropriate then they asked me if I want to get her ashes and said it was going to be $728. How is that even possible? Heartbreaking absolutely heartbreaking. I just spent a shit ton of money the week before because I knew my dog was dying and I was trying to do anything I could to help her. I'll never go there again. Essentially I lost one dog because I was told oh she doesn't eat don't give her insulin. Just call me if you need help. I'll be here for you. Three phone calls three phone calls not one callback and then it cost me $750 to have to go to the emergency vet and put my other dog down. God what a situation they don't give a shit.
