However, the combination worked well--the sauce tasted house made, and somehow the acidic tomatoes paired well with the squash. In Buenos Aires, fruit and veggies tend to taste better than stateside, and this was especially true in the passion fruit parfait that I got for dessert. The sweet yet tart passion fruit was blended into a pillowy, cool parfait that was absolutely perfect for a humid summer (that's Feb in ARG) day.
