He proceeded to ask where i learned from and i said my friend and he told me that they didnt know what they were doing even though they have been driving for 6 years. and i had my road test and on the way he FELL ASLEEP but i wasnt gonna let that stop me. when we got there he wanted to get some practice in so we drove the kapolei route and when driving pass a cross walk i slowed down which he asked me why i did so, i couldnt give an answer at the time i just thought its was right and he said there was no reason to and low and behold that was something i got marked down for because i was supposed to slow down incase pedestrians wanted to walk. do not recommend if you guys get leonard im not sure about any other intructor apart of this company i have not been introduced to anyone new.

He FELL ASLEEP on the wheel! And took her from Mililani to Kapolei to "feed his horses?!" We definitely called him and demanded a refund! $320 for 2 days just to fall asleep? And when we called him he said he had a "bad day". Then don't go making appointments to help others. My poor 17 year old niece was not at all comfortable during her experience. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LEONARD WONG!!!

Thanks to Jacob, the entire process was smooth and stress-free. He was responsive, patient, and an excellent communicator, guiding us step-by-step through exactly what needed to be done. Our daughter attended six consecutive Sunday classroom sessions and, despite some initial apprehension, ended up really enjoying herself. Jacob made the classes fun and engaging with group assignments, skits, videos, and friendly competitions. He even bought boba for the winners--which alone would have won our daughter over! As an added bonus, she got to know students from other schools. The one-on-one behind-the-wheel sessions were just as wonderful. Jacob's car has a passenger-side brake, which eased a lot of our fear and helped our daughter progress much faster. Over the course of the required 50 hours of parent-child driving practice, we noticed a clear boost in her confidence after every session with Jacob. It was also incredibly helpful that he took her on the actual test route the day before her exam, which made her feel fully prepared. Our daughter "passed first crack," and we couldn't be happier! To top it off, Jacob highlights his students' accomplishments on Instagram, which is fun and motivating. We were so fortunate to have found him--Jacob is truly the best!

After finishing the teen behind-the-wheel program with Cyrus Okino, I came here to write a…read morepositive review. The last thing that I expected was the countless one-star reviews complaining about everything. Cyrus let me know a couple days ago that the one-star reviews are from when this company was under a different owner. If I remember correctly, he is now the owner of the company, which means your experience with Accurate Driving should be different than what the other reviews are saying. I had done my 30 hours of classroom sessions through a different company and chose Accurate Driving for my behind-the-wheel after many references from friends. The process of scheduling a BTW appointment is as easy as it gets. I submitted an application and mailed a check to their office, and received an email shortly after telling me who my driver would be and what number to call to schedule an appointment. Cyrus will likely not answer calls until after 5 because he is likely instructing students. It is not difficult at all to understand that. Once you get on the phone with him (or any other instructor), you discuss your availability and make an appointment based on that. From one glance of his schedule book, I could see how many students he was responsible for teaching, but he managed to squeeze me in as fast as possible after an appointment so that I could be on my way to taking my road test as soon as possible. These guys make their livings off of teaching students how to drive; teaching multiple students efficiently can only be in their best interest. Cyrus is truly like an uncle to his students. He will talk story to get to know his students and make the teaching experience much more engaging, but he will also keep it real and instruct you in a straightforward manner to shape you into a better driver. I am not lying when I say that he taught me how to parallel park perfectly in 5-10 minutes. His method is simple and easy to memorize yet effective. You will be able to tell within just one 1-hour behind-the-wheel session that he knows his stuff. I came to Accurate Driving after spending $360 on six behind-the-wheel sessions with a guy off of Google that didn't even know that minors needed blue certificates after their lessons. If you are concerned about whether or not this place is legitimate, take my word for it: it is. Countless friends have used and recommended this place, and I will do the same. I have nothing but honest praise for this place and its behind-the-wheel training program.

We first came to Ant in May 2024 for our 5 year-old son's first surfing lesson. He worked with us to ensure that our kiddo would have the best day in the water by keeping us updated on the weather and surf reports -- he tailored our session around "the best day" for it -- which turned out to be perfect! Our kiddo was standing up on the board in no time and riding waves all the way in! Ant made the experience so fun that our kiddo was instantly hooked and has been surfing since! He even asked that if we ever go back to Kauai if he could see Ant again. Here we are, it's June 2025 (a year after from our 1st session), and our kiddo got to have his second session with Ant! He was so excited to be back on the same beach and show Ant how much more confident he is on the board. This time Ant's daughter was there to assist, since there was another family that joined us in our session. Ant and his daughter made the whole experience smooth and fun, ensuring everyone had equal support and attention. We highly recommend Ant for anyone who wants to experience surfing in a fun and safe environment. Ant's the man!

He did such a phenomenal job making sure everyone had a LOT of turns catching waves. He was tracking 87,000 things at once - giving feedback on the form/technique of the person who just caught a wave, watching for the next wave to launch an adult student, verbal cues for his daughter and the littles. I've been surfing on the coast of Washington state and in Panama as well as trying out Kailea beach on my own this week, and I caught more waves today than I had in all the other times combined!! Can't wait to come back and take another lesson.

Enter Esiah, our awesome instructor. He went through all the basics for us very green beginners, and emphasized the importance of looking straight ahead (and hula hands, which are now a family staple as we describe to people how to surf). The four of us went out in the water with Esiah, and we ALL FOUR caught waves, even me (who was definitely least likely). Esiah was awesome: complimentary, enthusiastic, and giving us feedback as my wife and I kept coming back to fall off again. Thanks to his awesome teaching, timing, and patience we had a blast, and my wife and I ended the day taking waves all the way to shore where we promptly had our boards run into our shins. Awesome memory, and we look forward to going out again.

We had Essyia (no idea how to spell his name) as the instructor for our boys. He was very patient and basic with the instruction for the boys. He made sure they understood the dry land training before going to the water. He helped each one of them ride a few waves. The younger two definitely got worn out pretty quickly. It was our first day there and our lessons started at noon so there could have been a couple of factors for them wearing down. But, I have to say, the youngest one has a Gtube so we were a little worried about him trying this. He did great! Nothing slows that kid down...well maybe an hour of surfing slows him down some. Very thankful for these guys helping our boys have this experience ! ‍
