Their buche is not your traditional sideways log, but a stump. Cool stuff. They give you the option of ganache or grandma style. I went grandma style on their advice because it was for kids and kids at heart and I'm glad I did! Rich and delicious and totally yummy! Beautiful too! This cake was incredibly rich, and only a tiny sliver was needed per person to induce what felt like a sugar and chocolate coma. In fact, it was so good we barely ate half at Christmas dinner, so into the freezer it went, ready to be pulled out for Epiphany. They do special occasion cakes outside of Christmas. While pricey if compared to your standard grocery store bakery cake, they would make an amazing gift for a chocoholic, and are totally worthwhile when you consider the good quality ingredients and love put into these cakes. I've also bought plenty of chocolate here for gifts. There's something for everyone, across all price ranges. But he insisted because he knows how much I love chocolate. Inside is small and compact but enough room for three or four customers at a time. The display is beautiful. We visited on Easter Day and the chocolatiers were hard at work. One of the cashiers helped me. She had great English and described the chocolates to me (they were all listed in French). I ended up ordering the 16 pack. I wanted to go with the larger one but they are a bit pricey. I chose mostly chocolates that I've seen before, ones with pale syrup, or coriander, etc. I did see that they had sesame and got that one. Sesame chocolate it so delicious! I just opened the box. I bought them 4 days again and they still in perfect condition, as if I bought them today. The chocolate was made perfectly and they taste phenomenal! Chocolats Privilege is skilled in their art and technique. I highly recommend visiting this chocolatier while you in Montreal. You won't regret it!

Many options were available and samples were provided behind the counter by a worker offering to taste test. Many of the candies offered are gummies. I know what you may be thinking. You can get the same high sugar octane candies at Bulk Barn, Couche Tard or Jean Coutu for half the price that they sell here. Yes folks.....you sure can. However the candies here have a different taste than the run of the mill Bulk barn Swedish berries or gummy bears. To me actually taste fresher and better. This is for one person who used to buy gummy bears and cola bottles by bulk at BB. However Bulk Barn is most likely the cheapest in QC to purchase candy. Then.... I discovered Haribo gummy bears. You pay more but I believe quality and taste is like a party in your mouth. Haribo does claim to have invented the gummy bear in Germany many moons ago. Back to Squish they are trying to conquer the market of premium candy. The store is bright and there is lots to check out if you are a sweet tooth. They have spent time on aesthetics such as a fresh clean store design and modern upscale looking packaging. Of course this is needed to convey an upmarket image.
