Location: In the heart of Saint-Sauveur village, just across the street from the church. Street parking is available but you'll be hard pressed to find a spot on weekends unless you show up early. Consider parking behind the church in the public car park.
The place: Small locale that is filled with chocolate - it's just my kind of place! Minimalist design and very clean.
The goods: I tried two different boxes - one was a selection of fruit ganache and unfortunately, I don't recall the second one (probably because I ate it too quickly ). That being said, the 2nd variety was suggested by the lovely lady behind the counter and it absolutely did not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed both boxes (of 4, each) and I can confidently say that the quality (and taste) of this chocolate is on par with some of my favourite chocolatiers, including my all-time favourite in Paris (yes I know, how very pretentious of me to randomly declare this). Cotard has a great variety of flavours to suit all palates. Highly recommend!
Service: Great - the lady who served me was friendly and knew her product.
This is a great little spot to check out if you're in the neighbourhood though be warned - you should perhaps consider a few back-up boxes lest you eat it all of the chocolate yourself read more
