If she does take care of this we will change this review to 4 stars as that is the proper response to this. My own therapist was chewing a throat lozenge during the massage and even dropped it on me. I was charged for a deep tissue massage even though the therapist confirmed she performed a Swedish massage. We were forced to overtip because the front desk didn't have change. This was our second bad experience here, last time the tech scrubbed so hard we left bleeding. The gym and most guided classes are included in your treatment fee, as well as access to the rest of the spa amenities (saunas, pools, etc). We arrived an hour and a half before our treatment because we saw that there was a Yoga Sculpt class scheduled for the morning. It was a beautiful outdoor environment under a small pavilion near one of the pools. It was very thoughtfully set up with all of the necessary equipment for each guest (yoga mat, weights, blanket, and a water). The instructor was very friendly, and it felt like the perfect warm up for our massages! From there, we checked in and were given local kombucha as a welcome on the way to our lockers. Most of the amenities are in the gendered areas including locker rooms with showers, a relaxation fireplace room with tea, indoor sauna, steam room, hot tub, and outdoor infrared sauna. I heard the men's side has a cold plunge, but I did not see one on the women's side. Upstairs is the shared waiting room for men and women. We were told to head up there prior to our massages, where we could have a snack and enjoy cucumber water and lavender lemonade. My massage was wonderful and relaxing. I think each treatment room has a fireplace so it was very cozy. Afterwards, I was given dandelion tea and a gluten free lemon cookie in the waiting room. We then checked out the Spa Cafe, and took a nap by the pool. They have sunscreen for you to use out there too. I really loved my visit to Spa Ojai. It's definitely a place to go for a special occasion, but worth a visit every now and then with some girlfriends!
